Mate it’s the first game after a pre season that involved more travelling than playing. Bit of patience

My dude and the last 9 months? That was also cos it was the first game and a bit more traveling - been like that since last October, you would have thought energy levels would have been raised for this game....not some crappy excuse

This isn’t the last 9 months though, it’s a new season. I might be positive based on the first few months of last season then if we can just pick periods of the past that suit us

Disagree with this. We went toe to toe with Liverpool four times losing on pens twice. We were good in the CL and played well in the PL till the injuries.

I agree in the league we are nowhere near the level we were playing at for the first third of the season and I agree we need to get to that level as soon as possible but I think it is lazy and disingenuous to label the whole of last season as Turgid.

He was pressed if he needed to sign a midfielder and he said not so much in that area but others.

On the basis of today, I seriously doubt we can improve enough in just a week to beat a very confident and fit Spurs. I think it has come at the wrong time.

I think we could get hammered like Utd did a few years back vs Spurs. I will try not to be too livid.

Aubameyang is a seriously depressing prospect.

Tuchel really needs to improve our style of play because if last seasons play continues without the excuse of sanctions fans will get restless.

Slapped Conte’s Spurs multiple times even in our notorious phase of terrible form but I’m supposed to be terrified of them all of a sudden? They’ve added no more quality to their starting XI than we have

I have already lost about 40 per cent of my interest in watching us.

I think we’ll beat them. When they’re favourites they usually flop.
