Is not the whole Caicedo negotiation just down to Chelsea refusing to sell Colwill?
Chelsea says " Colwill not for sale any price".
So why should Brighton budge from their 100 Mill price tag on Caicedo as long as Chelsea remain (correctly in my view) intransigent on Colwill.
Whats good for Gander etc....
After all Chelsea's preference is to have both players in the team... same with Brighton....
Chelsea have to pay over the odds for their target player, Brighton have no options but to be hard nosed in the so called discussions...

As of now, not many😄 not reported anyway.

If true on all reports, we have dropped interest in Martinez and Vlahovic, Dybala is still a bit open.

Only other one we've been linked to recently was Elye Wahi from Montpellier.

Someone inferior to Lukaku

Ah I tell a lie, there was a couple of rumours yesterday and day before that we want to sign Ivan Toney in January. But there's been nothing more mentioned on that since.

Kinsella is saying Chelsea are unsure on signing another striker. That would leave Jackson and Broja pretty much if we don't get anyone.

Still a lot of reports that we will push hard for Cherki from Lyon, but it's gone a bit quiet on everything else.

If we don't sign an out and out striker we'll struggle to finish top half in the PL again. 2 midfielders and a striker needed if we want to challenge for top 4.

Prefer to stick with Broja and Jackson than spend more ridiculous money on some average striker.

Osimhen and Kane are the only ones worth getting but both out of the price range

Imagine being this close to a perfect rebuild and deciding to not sign a top keeper or striker while taking fking forever to sign your only midfield target.

Such a wasted opportunity, letting Poch down already.

Like if they at least got say a top keeper and then said “right, we can’t get Osimhen/Kane which is our top target, so we’re going to wait a year to get them” then it would be fine. Trouble is we don’t know that’s the plan and even if it was it’s hardly foolproof is it?

Very frustrating.
