RtM I hate that phrase so much we need our first team signings in the door as soon as possible so they can be integrated.

Waiting until August just means they’d rather save a few quid than give the coach & team the best possible chance of being successful. Even worse when you remember the absolute mess that was last year’s pre-season and the impact it had.

When all the teams we’re trying to catch up to are getting first team signings in before they start pre-season it’s far from ideal for us to be doing our usual wait it out nonsense. Even fecking Arsenal have stepped up in the market.

Imagine being this close to a perfect rebuild and deciding to not sign a top keeper or striker while taking fking forever to sign your only midfield target.

Think we will eventually, it would have been nice to get in done for the pre season. But there's been many so outgoings, I believe the club have been mainly focusing on that.

I'm not liking this Caicedo deal dragging on for weeks, would be nice to get it over the line ASAP.
