Hard for Poch to instill a winning belief considering he's never won much

We are getting there though - we look a lot better now than we did a few months ago. Really looking forward to seeing Fofana, Lavia, Nkunku, James all fit (I’m an optimist)

Those blaming Poch today, I thought we were better than City for most ofthe match and should have won. In the end, we don't have a centre forward, and that has cost us so many games this season. Can't fault Jackson's work rate but he's just not good enough. If you run down the line of strikers we've had through history, even the most mediocre would have scored at least one of those.

I haven’t blamed Poch once for today. The players lost that match.

Shearer knows. If we’d had a striker like Shearer we would have won.
Apparently we have failed to score in 5 of our last 6 Wembley appearances. Same as the previous 40

The complete lack of VAR didn't help....we still need to be demanding answers...it was either incompetence or fraud

Weak

Strikers can Improve finishing

Jackson all round game is excellent

Mons with the positivity

Don't know what to do with Jackson. Has lots of attributes for being a very effective striker and this is only his second full season in Europe at 22 years old so it's no surprise he's raw.

I am just not sure we can wait the 2-3 years to see if he can become a 20 goal a season striker or not. His limitations in terms of decision making and composure mean its not a safe bet with me.

It's a difficult one

On one hand I don't want to lose his all round attributes from the team but I want goals

Does osihmen finish one of those chances, probably yes

Does oshimen link with palmer as well, not so sure

It's a a tough one

Overall though I am obviously gutted but I'll reiterate I can't blame manager or players today they were all great apart from sticking the ball in the net

Poch has to be praised with his team set up as well

Keep Jackson, he's done ok for his first season in England. He's frustrating as hell but so are the other forwards.

He can play on the wings as well so if he's not going to make it as a top class striker, he should become a useful squad player.

The problem is Jackson has ended up being the only striker at the club. He should be a squad player.

Nkunku died, respawned and died again. And despite that they still loaned out Broja to raise £4m.

It's been an issue since we sold Tammy and bought fat boy back, and it's crazy we haven't learnt from this. How much would even just a Giroud made as a difference?

Bit bad when you see Silva in tears at the final whistle but you have Madueke in the background having a laugh with Grealish.
