football is dying and will become more like wwe

Always was my man. Even more so these days where the spectacle, personalities, grudges & controversies are emphasised more than the football in the Premier League.

All sports are rigged, wrestling's just honest about it

Where that handball goes, you could go either way. At this point I feel like anything short of a player picking the ball up & running with it can't constitute as "deliberate".

However if that one for Coventry is a pen I don't see a difference, not gunna lie.

No one is brave enough to admit it, and then you have Neville on the payroll telling people they need to resign for speaking out on it
----------------
Plenty are speaking about it, problem is none of them are given a voice anywhere except social media which is a sewer in it's own right.

If you call up Talksport to talk about it I doubt you get on as they vet everyone's call and what they want to talk about beforehand.

I don't remember English football being as corrupt as this though. There was always favouritism shown to Fergie's Utd but what we have today is next level and much more blatant.

Lol what is all this social media bollix and faux outrage about Madueke ffs

Guy shares a laugh with England youth teammate and gets vilified just because at the same time Silva is crying as he realises that was his last big game of his playing career.

Yes Madueke is a bit of a knnnnoooob at present as is Jackson, but these sad terds on social media desperately need a life

And people need to understand also its nothing too malice other than logistics - during the 80s and 90s Liverpool/United had by far the largest fan bases of kids, these kids are now the ones who run the FA/PMGoL and ref games

Well if we can't trust match officials not to be biased then they're not fit for purpose. One of the most important facets of their job description is to be totally unbiased.

Yeh that's ditto for every job though - just cos people shouldn't be biased doesn't mean they won't be. Bet you don't trust a politician as far as you can throw them......yet here we are. And there will be bias in everything people do, including me and you regardless of how hard you will try/pretend to be impartial, it's human nature. I like I said logistically speaking there will be more United and Liverpool fans in positions of power..... which teams generally get the best rub of the green these days?

However, we should have a 100% transparent and impartial body above the FA/PMGoL who openly discuss these things more. Maybe with representatives from each team because clubs currently don't have a voice and it's ridiculous - and questions need to be asked and answers need to be given and honestly nothing has happened in my life time even though we keep getting promises of more transparency, honestly would say the opposite has happened and stuff has just gotten murkier.

That goes without saying but that's not really the point. We're talking about considerable and blatant levels of bias being shown in this instance. If we're supposing that match officials aren't corrupt and are just making these horrendous decisions purely out of bias and a total lack of impartiality.

Good to see at least a couple of rational people on this forum. I understand anger and frustration at losing and having another bad season, but honestly some people need to calm down. You often see players chatting with each other after a game - they are friends and frequently international teammates. God forbid Madueke shares a joke with a friend after the game. He’s finally starting to perform on the pitch, but people want him out because of their own anger issues. Jeez.

Also, how did Chilwell injure himself again. He was only on the pitch for 5 minutes ffs. He is so much better than Cucurella, but provides so much less value to the team with his constant injuries. Not to mention, why in the world did he not pass it to Sterling for a simple tap in at the end of the game? That frustrated me more than all of Jackson’s misses. At least Jackson is young and inexperienced - what’s Chilwell’s excuse?

I don't think people are overreacting to just that incident in isolation. It's a culmination including the video of him partying and dancing around when he's meant to be injured as well as the embarrassing penalty incident recently where he tried to take the pen. And now this, it's not a good look, especially so soon after that penalty fiasco incident.

If the other incidents hadn't happened then just being annoyed at him because he was seen laughing after a loss is quite petit. But this is more of a culmination with fans still being annoyed and embarrassed by that penalty incident.

Agree. That sort of attitude shouldn’t be here. That cancer spreads. It’s such a long way from where we were 15 years ago. It would never stand.

It just goes to show where his mind is. You just lost a chance to play in the FA cup final and you are acting like practice just wrapped up. Who cares if he’s a national teammate? It’s selfish and stupid to portray that attitude in public.
