Mauricio Pochettino:

"It is a good challenge if [Cole] Palmer is not available tomorrow. If I were [his teammates], I would be motivated to go there tomorrow and show that this is #Chelsea Football Club, not Cole Palmer Football Club.”

Spoiler alert, it was indeed Cole Palmer Football Club

Chelsea have re-entered talks to sign Michael Olise from Crystal Palace.

I really like Olise but he plays right wing - which is hardly a priority for us.

I think he is the one defender we have that has the potential to be the real deal and become part of a spine. So naturally we will sell him

Amorim to West Ham is a weird one. From being linked to Liverpool and us to then being linked to West Am.

West Ham often make big pitches for managers and players they don't get. I imagine this could be the same.

Chelsea prefer De Zerbi -

The club like his ability to “enhance young players” and “improve the level of the squad,” and given De Zerbi has already managed to get a tune out of Mykhailo Mudryk, we can see why they think he can do it again.

The claim is that the Italian coach “would have full autonomy” in everything, including transfers. That’s hard to believe. They say he’s the “ideal profile and possible replacement” for out current manager.

As I've said before, hoping we get De Zerbi, but if pool really are after him most likely he goes there.

In terms of tonight, with Gusto out, hoping Gilchrist plays RB instead of Disasi who is awful there. Could also move Cucurella across I suppose, but then we end up with a CB at LB, with Chilwell injured again.

If we get De Zerbi I hope he suddenly turns into a very good manager as I'm far from convinced that's what he is now. I also hope he's not a rabbit in a headlights when the pressure inevitably ramps up because losing the amount of games here that he's lost at Brighton this season wouldn't be acceptable.

According to @Record_Portugal, sources close to Rúben Amorim have confirmed with certainty that he will NOT be on the bench of Liverpool or West Ham next season.

FA Cup was his last hope I think. Season will peter out and he'll be let go in the summer.

Calcio Mercato & Graeme Bailey -

Chelsea are set for a mega road on both AC Milan and Onter Milan, and are set to spend up to €200 million in what could be their three main signings.

Goalkeeper Mike Maignan of AC Milan
Left back Federico Dimarco of Inter Milan
And Inter Milan's star man Lautaro Martinez.

Chelsea are also supposedly in advanced talks for Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners, with a £40 million deal on the table.

Short contract for Poch so it would be a relatively low pay out in comparison to what we usually end up shelling out. Still be a bit between himself & staff

Mauricio Pochettino has never won a Premier League away game against Arsenal, drawing four and losing three of his seven league visits to the Emirates with Southampton and Tottenham.
