This was obvious

If we do sign Felix, there is no doubt he is a decent player & would fit in at CFC, but it illustrates the total nonsensical approach that is driving our transfer dealings.

It could also be that Dewsbury-Hall is a good player

cuz maresca wants to options for every position

yeah squad will be bloated
Doesnt seem like there is much of a plan here

if we sign felix it will make it very difficult to integrate

im all for having great options across the team as we also have the conference league this year so I am happy with depth

just cant visualise it at the moment

We probably should've taken him back on loan in hindsight. I'm guessing Poch didn't like his laziness but he could've come in use with Nkanku's injuries.

I wouldn't mind him back in principle, it just doesn't make a lot of sense now. But saying that Marseca probably won't last long anyway so why not?

The deal must have been that both clubs agreed to sign one player from the other club, so in order for the Gallagher deal to be fulfilled Chelsea need to buy someone - anyone - in return. So Felix must be the next best option at Atletico after the Omorodion deal fell through.

The thing I don’t know is, why did the Omorodion deal fall through?

if the club are set on moving Gallagher on, then they should look elsewhere, instead of being forced into a player deal for which they have no space.

Im sure there will be a queue for him!
