I'd welcome another striker but Osimhen gets enough injuries in much less physical Serie A so I have no idea how well he'd cope in the PL. It would be a big concern for me when you factor how injury prone our squad already is.

It's kind of bleak that most of last season was spent with half the Haven wanting Poch out and now he's left there's collective despairing for months on end.

People just appear to enjoy misery on here.

Not saying we have to be barking seals for the owners, but I won't lie, the default gloominess on here makes it less appealing for chat than it used to be.

There needs to be a reason to have optimism in the first place. I actually had some at the end of the season but it lasted for like 2 days

Went to sziget festival in Budapest. It’s a cool place.

My issue is - there were glaring holes in the team last season......and thus far we have either made no attempt to fix them, or have in fact gotten worse. Now hopefully this is because our transfer team have their cards close to their chest (highly doubtful), but 5 days from the start of the season and it seems like we are going to be starting with 2 awful CBs and a 3rd choice keeper.

Dont get me wrong I am looking forward to seeing what our attack does...........but we will be leaking so many goals we will need to really invoke our inner Keegans and hope for the best

Quite surprised by this idea that Palmer having a contract extension is a bad idea. Even stranger to me that's it's Chelsea fan Merson spearheading it.

Seen this a few other places as well, that Palmer is going to be a one season wonder and he'll somehow get found out this season. Very strange and not sure where it's coming from. Anyone that thinks that is going to be bitterly disappointed. This kid is super special.

9 year contract is crazy though
