We move it too slow, wait for everyone to get back
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Uncertain of why we are doing this tbh
But we are having the same problem with Lavia and Moises.......stronger defensively, leaves us lite up top as they are both scared of the halfway line
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't think that's the case tbh, I think both of them can get forward well enough. If they're not getting forward much then it's likely a tactical instruction from the manager..
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My man they don't get forward well at all, they sometimes do well carrying the ball forward from the middle but give little to nothing in attack. Watch they are only ever passing the ball 5 yards backwards or sideways, almost nothing in the final 3rd that is clinical. Neither are attack minded
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree to disagree then. Both Caicedo and Lavia have played some good forward balls in the last minute.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Stop it, they occasionally pass it forward but aren't clinical and barely take part in attacks
Like there.....both are in our half as we attack
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe playing at Old Trafford against Manchester United the manager hasn't given them much licence to get forward. And maybe that's the reason why Maresca is favouring Lavia over Enzo in games like these.
Especially as the manager is likely trying to improve our leaky defence. Keeping two CM's in place without license to get forward much is one of the first basic things any manager can do to improve defensive solidity in a team.
If these two weren't doing exactly what Maresca wanted then £100 million man Enzo would surely be straight back in the team. So clearly they're doing exactly what he's asked of them.

I'd quite like to see Cucurella come on for Gusto or James to give us a bit more balance, wouldn't be shocked to see Mudryk come on for Madueke or Neto.

Feel bad if we pull Neto off, been massively isolated. The problem is more behind for sure. WBs aren't supporting our wingers particularly well. Problem is more James/Gusto. Tho Mads decision making has been on point for him
