Watching Chelsea in this era must've lowered my standards on what's considered good football.

Everyone's saying today how boring that United match was & I thought it was alright

It was pretty awful until they scored.

Lack of quality throughout, a lot of give aways and lack of urgency.

The game was their for the taking and ultimately we failed to capitalise

With essentially all our players fit too. Compared to last year. There’s no real difference at all tbh. No control. Still poor end product bad palmer. I think from the league games this year we’ve been lucky to get points in several.

We need to sign Robinson from Fulham. Every time I see him he’s outstanding. Best player on the pitch tonight in a fully dominant Fulham win.

Not the best stat but a slight indicator into perfomance at least, is we have been outperformed in xG in 6 of our 10 games.
So can’t be talking complete rubbish. Add that to knocked out the cup already. Lost to servette too.

Still a long way to go.

I was going to do an article about this today on the main board Nick but didn't get time. Yeah still very annoyed and confused by it. I no longer understand what is and what isn't a red card offense when it comes to high tackles. Thought I did but Var have opened up a Pandora's box of interpretation now.

Not sure why petrovic was binned off, guys only 25 and was good imo behind an awfully shaky team/defence.

Sanchez is an excellent shot stopper

I think football's obsession with the build up keeper will be coming to an end soon.

I'd love to know some actual stats to see if this holds up, but of the football I've watched the last few years it seems like a 50-50 chance to ball will get past the halfway line before the opposition have won it back. That makes kicking it long & winning the second ball as a team a viable option again.

I'm not sure it's an option for us atm cos there's no good target to aim the long kick for, but I'm expecting to see it come back in teams that do anytime now.

It's one of many things City don't need to worry about. They've got one of the best keepers & defences at playing through pressure, and in Haaland one hell of a target to pick out if they wished to go long

Yeah doesn't make much sense to me either. And I generally felt a lot more confident with Petrovic in goal. Our upturn in results happened when Petrovic replaced Sanchez last season.
