When was last time we beat a big team?

And by that, I mean a big team that wasn't in a banter era. The 4-3 win over United was great fun but they were a joke team at the time too.

Honestly, I think it was probably City away under Tuchel and that was about three and a half years ago.

Really don't get the argument. The tools Pep had and the way those tools were obtained by the club is irrelevant to his achievements as a manager.

It's only relevant to the club's achievements.

You could say that about any successful club like Real Madrid, Barca. The manager works with the resources given. It's no reflection on him if the club are found guilty.

No issue with that, but it's a reflection on the club, not the manager. Whether resources are legally or illegally obtained is not on the manager. The resources available are the same either way.

So if you believe almost unlimited club access to resources dismisses the achievement of the incumbent manager, fair enough, but that argument is not exclusive to City.
