Tottenham Hotspur have told Manchester United and Chelsea to forget about signing creative midfielder Luka Modric.

The Croatian schemer has been heavily linked with a move away from White Hart Lane during the past two summers and looks set to demand a transfer when he returns to London from his country’s Euro 2012 campaign.

Manchester United and Chelsea are interested in signing the 26-year-old and both have seen bids rejected by Spurs in the past year.

But the North London club have privately informed both Manchester United and Chelsea, as well as big-spending Manchester City, that Modric has absolutely no chance of being sold to another Premier League club.

Spurs would like to keep their star-performer but will reluctant allow him to move abroad if the former Dinamo Zagreb midfielder demands a move.

Oil-rich French club PSG are interested in Modric, as are Real Madrid, but his preference has always been to remain in London and join Chelsea.

Just have to hope we can get a few more players in now. Good thing is both Hazard and Marin seemed happy for RDM to be in charge next season which is positive.

We might see Kalou stay at the club now.

Kalou is not going to improve. We need a striker <ok

TCP - RDM seems to rate Kalou for his work rate etc. Kalou staying and Sturridge leaving is a possibility now.

Dan Levene - Special mention for Eddie Newton. Am told he played a huge part in Chelsea's success. No news on RDM's staff yet, but certain to include Ed.
