They are saying that harry could be the greatest ever manager to not manage England behind clough
Harry is a average manager but he would of learnt a lot this season and if he does stay i do not expect to see the same mistakes again next yr
"They are saying that harry could be the greatest ever manager to not manage England behind clough"
Oh FFS !!!
Must of missed all the trophys he has won
Wow, I would have thought today's performance (obviously player-pride inspired rather than Harry-inspired) would have sealed the deal, so I'm amazed anyone still fancies him to carry on with us.
Fair play to you for saying what you feel. Personally I think he's been totally found out at club level now, but might still be a great England coach
I think (and pray) that these Hodgson rumours are just the FA trying to get Harry's compensation down.
We all should be happy here, i want harry to stay
Don .. I would want him to stay if he gets out of the media circus and learns from mistakes of this season ,
We've only just started to get good over the past few years, if we chuck out harry after a dodgy couple of months, then it's just ridiculous. We're not chelsea.
By no means should those of us who no longer think Harry is the right man for Spurs be swayed by today. We beat what looked like one of the worst premier league sides to come to WHL in my lifetime, who showed absolutely no desire and we're set up wrong by their manager.
I think harry staying might keep our players atleast
lets se what happens, they might ask Tottenham at end of season to talk to Harry.
I have had enough of everything that has gone on in the last few months and if harry did stay he has some bridges to build with the fans and needs to shut his mouth about players leaving
I reckon without the fa circus hovering over us, Harry will get back to doing a good job.
This is facking unbelievable Ive just turned on TV and Im greeted by this story
First reaction is pure anger at the FA. WHAT THE FACK WAS ALL THAT ABOUT
Has Harry messed it up with our dire performances?? Has he turned down the job??? My word whats going on!
The FA never said he was getting the job or offered it to him that was the media

only at spurs lads could this happen
It is kinda funny we've been up in arms for months now and its a non story
I wonder did he turn it down?
Jes he hardly turned it down did he?
Hang on, is this approach with a view to appointing him because in the past they've interviewed several candidates. Brian Clough was interviewed alongside Don Revie and a couple of others (might have been McMenemy). I just wanna know if this is it or have they got others to see.
Non Story
Tottenham won
Scored from a freekick
What we going to talk about now
Headline says Hodgson is the only one approached.
If there were others they'd never say that surely?
Looks like Harry is stuck with the Spurs job. Don't know if he will be able to stand the pressure next season, expecially if they don't make the top four this year!
Normally it would say "F.A approach 3 unnamed candidates for the England job." They don't normally reveal a name until it's pretty much done.
God i hope this is true. For all our moaning in the last few weeks i think we're pretty much all in agreement that we all want Harry to stay. A lot of the gripes were probably only because he was about to leave. It's easier to say goodbye to someone if you've got good reason for them to leave.
fridge - I don't know if we are all in agreement that Harry should stay to be honest. It will depend on the rest of the season.
