It’s a tough one.
I love the club and obviously I want to be there next year but the thought of giving Venkys one more penny makes me sick to my stomach. That said I feel as if I don’t, I’m letting them win….Bit of a catch 22!
I am still mystified, stunned and outraged that the media in this country are still sitting idly by and blatantly ignoring the heart and soul being ripped out of our club but at the same time; bleat on about how bad clubs like Plymouth, Portsmouth, and Rangers have it and that they are institutions that cannot fail! It’s as if we’re supposed to just accept our faith.
I've not renewed
Probably be unemployed by start of next season.
If I am unemployed I quite fancy going travelling for a few months.
If i keep my job
Mate who I normally go with has been able to attend less games than normal this season meaning having to rope in other friends to come along with me.
Championship means more midweek games and its a ballache getting back to leeds (train is at 10 failing that I don't get back until 3am).
Saturday afternoons have been depressing as hell and I've really lacked motivation to even make the relatively short trip.
I wasn't going to renew this season but made a last minute u turn and have regretted it ever since.
I hate what the club has become and find it hard to even celebrate wins as think in the long term they will count for nothing.
I haven't bought mine yet and the first time i doubt I will get one. I wouldn't rule out myself getting one if significant (positive) changes occur. Agree with you oojw in that kean should have gone after wigan away last year.
Price is still the most important thing to me when deciding whether to renew. The price is still phenomenally low, and as such I can't see Venkys caring whether fans renew or not.
That being the case, the only thing I'm considering is whether I personally get enough out of Rovers to justify paying out £165. Well the answer's still yes. The day out, atmosphere and occasional wins are worth paying that. Plus the alternatives are most likely getting dragged round shops, listening to us on the radio, or watching some PL team I don't care about on TV.
Many people are saying that there is no way they would renew whilst Mcleish is at the club. But I would trust him with my life

like the OP iv'e had a ST for well over 30 years.
Took my kids and nephews, nieces and various family.
I have renewed as I can't not?
Rovers are my club that are temporarily under the auspices of venkys with a temporary clown in charge.
See y'all in the championship
I'm moving away in a few months (Well, if my A-Levels come out as I hope) so there's no point in a season ticket anyway. I haven't had one for a couple of seasons now due to work commitments on Saturdays either.
I was thinking about going to the Wigan game, maybe the last time I'd see them for a while live, coupled with it being (probably) our last PL game for a while, but I don't know if I want the current regime to rip the final piece of the club from me before my eyes.
Rovers are within me, in heart and soul, but I don't think I can bear to watch us go down, especially with local rivals celebrating in the away end.
I am not getting one!First time in 36 seasons.I understand where all my old compadres or old Blue and Whites are coming from, its with a heavy heart that I take this stance.Keano will take us to the outer limits of football. He has 3 years to go and we are in freefall with this moron, were going to get some real pastings in the Championship. The future is bleak.
36 seasons Star! Well done. I have not had season tickets during all of my time supporting the club for cost and work reasons over that period, but have had one for over 20 seasons on and off.
I think it is between you, garners and dougie for the oldest fan on here!
I dont get to many home games because of my work abroad.I always fly in at Heathrow and if Rovers are near London I go to the away game.I buy the season ticket to support my club through thick and thin! When I am back in Ossy (Oswaldtwistle)I take my dog Rover over the moors and usually end up at Mcdonalds for a fish filet or burger without sauce and share an ice cream,Rovers and my dog(Rover) are the only pleasures I have in life.I honestly dont know how I will manage next season without my season ticket but as long as this clown is at Ewood I will remain strong and determined. As for Dougie and Garners we are all dyed in the wool Rovers and we will stay so till we die!
Renewing your season ticket? Then dont complain about Venkys and Kean.
"Venkys Out....oh here you are Mrs Desai have another £225 for your back sack.
If you pay dont be an hypocrite just "Happy Clap" on
"Venkys Out....oh here you are Mrs Desai have another £225 for your back sack."
"Thanks, stick it with the other loose change that wouldn't even buy me one tenth of a rolex"
If you think the paltry amount we pay for season tickets matters to Venkys you've vastly over-estimated our financial importance.
Season ticket revenue x 5 = Parachute payment revenue.
If you don't pay your money...don't complain surely?
I'm a Rovers supporter..not Venkys or Kean.
I would still attend whatever division we are in(and have) so I have to make a choice, save money(less to Venkys) by renewing my S/T.
Or go through the hassle and added expense of buying a ticket every other week.
no brainer sorry.
I don't have to like it though
