Jacko, you haven't mentioned the pedal for pounds 3 riders riding 260+ miles for this game, me being one of them.

We start tomorrow,coaches leave @ 5 a.m.,then we start riding back up tomorrow morning. First day is 44 miles,followed by two 90+ miles for the next two days.
Then the last "hilly" day is Sheffield to Huddersfield!

Anyway I'll be going in fancy dress, unshaven cave man,with a blue& white cycling top on,with an arrrse as red as a baboons

Cheers 38. How come you're not doing it this year? My bike should hold up it's only 4 months old and cost a small fortune.

The whole thing will have cost me over a grand to do,and by the looks of it I'll only get a third of that back in sponsors to the keep it up campaign! False economy, but I'll keep my bike for years,and hopefully do it again and again

In LC's 4 seasons there were 2 'thirds', at the end of 10/11 and beginning of 11/12 where he succeeded in gaining above the mid 20's in points. Uncannily consistent in that 27, 27, 26, 26, 26 were gained prior to this, which in fact is what Grayson will acheive (26) should we win on Saturday. The fact Clark started with a 22 point haul and ended with a 24 one sort of proves we had the slow start and the ultimate decline we all felt had happened. Any feeling that we were 'improving' was obviously a misconception ...
