Ferdinand vs Terry (Euros)

Roy is a good friend of Sir Alex and I'm hoping this means he has a United Bias. It's been years since and England manager has - Can't really think of one actually - Sven maybe?

If he does then Wellbeck, Carrick, Rio, Rooney and maybe Scholes and Jones should all go to the Euro's.

and if Anton is alleging that he has been a victim of racist remarks then surely Rio will have to stand by his brother.

............................................

I don't think it was Anton who made the allegations. It was from a public complaint made to the police.

I think terry cld shrug it off....skin like a rhino that boy...

Rio not so sure...

Rio needs to retire now, he's lost a yard of pace but he can still read the game well. Smalling should replace him now and Terry should go as well, he's only 30 so he has a few years left in him.

IMO Terry should be left out of the Euros as he is too disruptive. No doubt he is a quality defender, however he just attracts bad press.

You do not pick a team on the basis of friendship.

Where did SAF get involved in Terry's racial scandal?

AM

AF as in Anton Ferdinand.

VC - that's true, but he's also supposed to feel very strongly about this. After all he didn't want to shake his hand (I didn't watch the game so I don't know if there was any tension)

Oh thanks VC.

Id leave them both out. Time to build for the future. Play Cahill and Smalling.

I am in line with Elvis thinking here.

Without a doubt I think this would be Ferdinands last international tournament and should retire from England after the summer.

I think Anton was advised not to shake JT's hand by his lawyers. Because say if the Jury or Judge (not sure) saw them shaking hand they could form an opinion like Anton has forgiven JT etc.

United have the best attack, and City have the best defence.
England's attack minded players should be built around Rooney, Wellbeck and Young.
Whereas the defensive players should be built around Hart, Richards, Lescott and Barry.

Communication and teamwork are key to any team, hence Spain's current domination, hence the familiarity of these players could be a huge factor x

We should take Lescott, Cahill, Smalling, Rio to the Euros.
