Madness. Looks like Ljajic says something well out of order.

Wow remind me never to annoy that man!
Makes the hair dryer seem a little tame!
Does anyone know what he said?
Where's Forza Napule when you need him?
Ohh he's the kid who we nearly signed.
thank god, if he touched saf, he would be destroyed by everyone in man utd
Dunno what he player said but absolutely no excuse for the managers reaction. Disgraceful behaviour from him.

Disagree, don't be sarcastic to the manager when you are subbed off or else
Sarcasm is a justifiable excuse in which to resort to violence? Get a grip mate.
Strange way to attack somebody, leaving one leg stuck in the air as you dive into the dugout.
Manager was immediately sacked after game. Apparently the player gave him a sarcastic thumbs up after being subbed.
He was gutted when we didn't sign him -did we make a mistake or not?
Lalic would have enjoyed this season.
A player shouldnt do that, but a manager shouldnt do that!
imagine if he had done that to Fergie. He would be in the reserves' bench for eternity.
The manager has been sacked
Rossi was sacked straight after the game. I think Ljajic was clapping the manager sarcasticly accoring to SSN.
It was only a clip round the ear, and cheeky kids should get one of those every now and again, but the world's gone soft, so the manager will end up getting punished and kid get off scott free.
In the 1950s when I was growing up it was perfectly acceptable to kick the odd annoying kid. I believe even that isnt allowed any more.
Anyway got to dash, my next teaching period starts in 10 mins

TOOR, whilst I agree with your reasoning, this isn't Sunday league. These are professionals, would you expect your manager at work to punch you?
This was live on television, you can't just start beating the crap outta your players.
Toor if you have developed beyond a reptilian brain you'll realise that blindly hitting somebody is the reaction of idiots.

Spot on. I can't believe how many posters I've seen defending the manager. He should be arrested, never mind sacked.

--------------------------------------
it wasn't blindly, he disrespected him in front of everybody. He's a sixty year old manager, with I'm sure forty years experience and this little insolent child comes along after playing crap and being subbed, losing 2-0, with his team going on to snatch the draw after he came off, he gives him the thumbs up? I bet many managers in the Premier League would have reacted the same way. Look at Fergie and Mancini going at each other, Fergie would have swung for him, had he got the chance.
Whilst I agree it wasn't the best way to handle the situation( he could have beat the crap out of him behind closed doors...joke) sometimes emotions get the better of you, especially when you're close to relegation, losing 2-0 and the little runt who has come off was having a bad game and he decides to ridicule you in front of everybody.
The player got what he deserved.
