True but as I said, it is hard to keep that under control when the pressure is mounting, just above the relegation zone, losing 2-0 then this little kid disrespects you.
_______________

You miss my point. You expect this "little kid" to handle the pressure and behave impeccably yet you excuse assault by the more experienced man. Bonkers. If you can't see how ridiculous that argument is then I worry about you!
---------------------------------------------------
I expect this little kid, who has been picked by the manager in nearly every single one of his fixtures, to respect the manager when he subs him off for playing crap. I expect the manager to deal with him, internally. Neither happened. I'm not saying the manager should have done what he did, I'm saying I understand it. Tensions running high, near the relegation zone, 2-0 done, some kid puts in a crap performance, gets subbed off, with his team then going on to play better and draw the game 2-2, he disrespects the manager, who losses it. Again, I'm not saying he should have, I'm saying I understand it. I do have a chuckle to myself and think however that, the kid was taught a lesson and won't be so arrogant or a spoilt little brat anymore, he's learnt his lesson.

Was Fergie arrested for kicking a football boot at Beckham's head?"
____________

That's just a stupid thing to say. Clearly an accident and not even remotely comparable. If Fergie had actually kicked Becks in the head then yes that would have been assault and worthy of charges. But we all know he didn't so I think you've lost the thread somewhere...
------------------------------------------------
How is it a stupid think to say? One manager slapped a player, one manager kicked a boot at a player. Just because one is Man United manager doesn't make it alright, one would have thought even the most biased United fan, wouldn't have went down that road and I didn't have you pegged for a biased fan.

Assault doesn't have to be with your own body, objects can be used and regardless of what you say, kicking or throwing an object, which hits a person, is assault. I was unaware that he didn't mean it, admittedly, first I've heard that one, as I always thought he was giving Beck's the hairdryer treatment and then kicked a boat at him.

One was in front of everybody, one was behind closed doors. One had been in charge for a short time, one had built the club over a long period into one of the best clubs in the world, so it's understandable why the treatment of the managers was different.

For gods sake TOOR the boot was an accident. He walked into the dressing room in a rage and just kicked it

If you think he went in there and deliberatly took aim at Beckham's head and kicked it with perfect accuracy then I'm sorry but you are being ridiculous

I've already been informed of that.

Well he was a footballer at one time wasn't he?

Sorry but it was a stupid comment and this one is even dafter. I didn't even read past this paragraph as it is obvious that your hatred of United is just blinding you to reason and common sense. There was nothing biased at all about anything I said. Frankly, I think you are now being willfully dense to some extent as well.

"accident" and "on purpose" are two different things and neither has anything to do with bias. If Fergie did what Rossi did he would deserve the same punishment. If Rossi kicked a boot and it hit a player it would deserve no punishment.

Is that clear enough for you or are you still determined to bring stupid club rivalry into the debate?

It clear your bias is clouding your judgement and therefore there is no point continuing this debate.
