Going off our last 2 away games I really can't see us getting anything from Chelsea.
Chelsea won't have anything to play for now in the league given that they lost to Newcastle yesterday, they can only qualify for the Champions League by winning it now. With that in mind I don't think Di Matteo will care about the Rovers result.
We also need to put a lot of goals past Wigan to improve the goal difference. To be sure of anything we need to beat them by 3 or 4 goals, then we have a chance, a small chance but a chance never the less. Then it will be off to the bridge and Keans wonder tactics, which will be, lets defend deep in our half, leave the Yak up front on his own hope he can do a Torres, 3 minutes in 1 nil down, he will then stand on the edge of his technical area, arms folded and looking perplexed.
In his interview at the end he will say something along the lines of ' we played really well till they scored, Dunny and the boys were truely great till the goal, if we had scored first it would of been a different story, and lets take the positives from this Motty, at least we did not lose the game with 3 minutes to go, I think we can learn some valuable lessons from this'
Then the media will crown him a true gentleman and a better manager than Fergie, he will then be knighted and become Sir Steve Kean of Blackburn.
Realistically though we won't beat Wigan and the Chelsea game will be irrelevant.
Why won't we beat Wigan? Their one defeat in this wonder run they've had recently has been against the worst side in it. They're a good team but their league position shows how inconsistent they are. If they have one of their poor games they shouldn't be a problem.
Amazing we are not mathematically down already after the perfomances this season.
If the expected losses at United and Liverpool had occured we would be gonners already.
I am happy we still have a chance, however remote.
Do I think we will beat Wigan? Mmmmm.. They buried us at their place and should have won by 3 or 4. Quick thinking by MGP and a late goal rescued a point, but as B&W has said before, they were shocking losing 9 on the bounce earlier this season and we should be competitive at home against them.
Stop punishing yourself with hope and expectation- Wigan are sending us down on Monday- who would have thought that 10 years ago.

Wouldn't surprise me if we beat Wigan, they've had a purple patch but they're near the bottom for a reason.
It will be irrelevant though, I think we'd go down even if we beat Chelsea too.

That's quite a comparison.
Years of misery for an act he wasn't a part of and couldn't prevent, bent over and royally rogered, scraping away at a seemingly impenetrable brick wall, suffering through loads of sheeite... Then freedom (of sorts).

Eh! I am sure Di Matteoe wants the Chelsea job and rolling over for a relegated Rovers won't impress Roman at all, so not sure what you are on about here.
Besides from that you do the whole Chelsea team and squad a dis-service and there are a number of top, top professionals at the club that will ensure they are competitive against us.
