"Crouch has a better goal scoring record for England than RVP does for Holland tbf."
-------------
Edin, this is surely about quality rather than quantity though?
'Have a look at Beckham's goal, have a look at Suarez', then come back to me. Both goals are floated over the keepers head and in fact Suarez' is closer to the corner and top of the goal. Both would have been easily saved had the keeper been in position. You're talking out of your ass.'
'Not really.
I think your letting nostalgia get the better off you.
Watch both goals again, and youll see both keepers in similar positions, albeit, Wimbledons keeper had more time to get back on his line, by virtue of beckhams shot being further away, and didnt really make an attempt to save it, but opted for a silly little jump towards his own goal.
Of the two, Suarez's had more zip, rather than beckham's, which was more of a floater'

Lol compare the two comments, jloo counters back with style and reasoning.
TOOR shows himself up and why he is the most intolerable on ja606.
Maybe I am nostalgic but I still think Beckhams was better
Lex I was saying that to counter this point:
'Okay here's the thing with Crouch's goal... if it was more judgement than luck, surely with natural skill like that he should be a shoe-in for the Euro's?
That he isn't speaks volumes.'
how can anyone argue that Suarez's and Beckham's would have gone in with the keeper on his line!
Next you'll be saying the same about Alonso's!
I have to side with Edin I'm afraid chaps, (no that you'll lose any sleep over that I'm sure).
Suarez's goal was great... just not as good as Beckham's one.
That one is an iconic goal. In fact wasn't Suarez's stike even described as being "Beckham-esque"?

Both comments said the same thing and had the same reasons. The difference was that I chose to ridicule you for talking crap when you couldn't even describe how Beckham's goal was. You clearly didn't remember the goal and decided that it was a great goal and might have went in regardless of the keeper being off the line, whereas Suarez' goal, which was in fact more accurate, more in the corner and higher in the goal, with less chance of the keeper saving it, was inferior. With that reasoning, you left me no choice, in ridiculing you.
So whilst I share half the blame, I would want to take anything away from your achievement in sharing the other half.
Coates V QPR, that was a belter too....
Some great goals here, though for me Suarez edges it.
I'm also gonna request a special mention for Dzeko's 4th against spurs x

You still here TOOR?
If I was in goal I wouldve struggled more saving Beckhams goal.
However kiddo, you clearly didnt remember it because you are talking out of your ass like the idiot you are dismissing it so readily.
I would say RvP's volley v Charlton was better than Crouch's.
I'm not entitled to an opinion though, as i am a woman.

it was a great goal and certainly an iconic one but this is more so due to the time it happened and the fame Beckham and the goal itself received. From then on, goals like that will be know as Beckham-esque.

!!!!
Has to be Cisse v Chelsea
I reworded your bizarre rant
The Van Persie one against Everton and the Ben Arfa one against Bolton is overrated IMO, don't deserve to be in the top 5.
Ryan Taylor's goal against Everton should be in the top 5 It is up there with Cisse's goal against us
I spy with my lil eye... FUBO
There is no "i" in team:

Balotelli 1 or 2?
Aguero?
Fletcher?
Some great team goals there... Not so much Dzeko's 1st though
for me its between Crouch, Cisse and Van Persie
I am not biased, so I will say, Van Persie (any of them)
I think the goal of the season will turn out to be the one scored on Monday by Vinny

Unless, of course, Cisse pops up with another gem in his next game.
Crouch's goal still remains goal of the season for me.
