1-2 Liverpool (league)
0-2 Liverpool (CC)
you chelsea fans are rubbish
Its gonna be fun to win tomorrow and see this board with their Kenny out! rafa in! then you shake it all about!
TOOR - I never go on any other boards except the Chelsea one (even then I can't be bothered with most posters). So you can let me know. What are the Liverpool fans opinion on Kenny being in charge next season? From an outsiders point of view he has been awful. He seems so out of touch with modern football it's scary and is living off name alone. The Liverpool fans I know are split, half of them want him out but others think winning the CC actually means something. Would you want him replaced? and with who?
Carroll i can see firing us the winning goal - just a feeling.
However if Drogba turns up - then we are in for 90 minutes of hell ... Nervy !
22 assists, 12 goals. Yeah hes been p!ss poor 8-)
Haha, our whole team were terrible in the League, did Mata even play in the cup?

Keep being arrogant. We just wait and watch.
others think winning the CC actually means something

It does means something, it means for a club who were near the relegation zone and near administrations just over a year ago, have won a cup trophy, knocking out great teams along the way - all this in a season that has by the most part been a failure.
However the sensible liverpool fans on here know we are not the team we were however we have the right people involved to get us over the line over the course of a few years.
So the CC means a lot - especially to the young players, it shows we are here to win, regardless of what it is. Ultimately this is progress.

Yes Mata played.
We have won twice this season vs Chelsea (at SB)
Mr C - I do, I'm just a bit bored today so want some chat/to annoy some people

-------------------------------------------
I can't speak for the masses, I can only speak for myself. I am not happy with his tactics and I am not happy that he doesn't play the players in a system which suits them in a system he bought them for. I don't want him to be in charge next season.
The CC does mean something. It's a major trophy, you were beaten in it. The League Cup has a proud place in the clubs history and the team have carried that tradition on, by winning it again.
I would want him replaced. Who? Well that's down to the owners and what their plans are. Do they want a yes man? Do they want to give a new manager 100m and say go for it?
My preference would be Rafa. However the are many other suitable candidates who are tactically astute, which Kenny isn't.

Skrtel started in the second team match against Fulham, I think a more worrying concern is that means he won't start this game and we'll have Carragher starting.

==================
A few months i was totally for this, however the more i think about it.
I think the reasoning for me is totally nostalgic, also he has been out a while, what are the chances of doing it again and finding gems like Alonso?
i would say as we are in transition lets move on a start a new phase - bring in Klopp i say.
TOOR/ the rest of you - I wasn't putting down the CC, I've enjoyed whenever we've won it, but it means nothing in terms of judging your performance over the season. Birmingham won it last season, did they have a good season? the CC is a bonus that only means something when won alongside other successes. If you win the FA cup as well then it takes on more meaning.
DDFP - Klopp won't leave Dortmund this season. He'll want another go at the CL before his team is dismantled.
TOOR
True, if both start, I will be very worried. Jamie should just sit and watch in preperation for his coaching role next season, We should try and drop Jay off at West Ham on the way.

All cups are a bonus but they certainly count towards judging performance over a season. Do they count towards judging league performance? Of course not. league performance hasn't been good enough. Cup performances obviously have.

the CC shouldn't be depreciated, all teams are in to win it. If other teams put out weaker teams and get knocked out its their fault.
Winning any trophy is a good thing, and that was Jose's first trophy in England and I'm sure he will tell you that it is important
