Greaves, god article and agree with what you say ...the momentum is definitely with us, with back to back wins, and playing our open expansive game, the monkey is off Harry's back - if we win our next two games, then, and only then, will Harry not be a complete
However, its Spurs we are talking about, and after 50 years support, you of all people know that when opportunities like these come our way we rarely take them - of course we will believe we can do it, and that is what counts, but that belief is often disapointed
If we can finish 3rd then the January transfer window paid off.
oddiY..........................................Yes I know its Spurs & we are now at the top of the rollercoaster. Do we cruise through the end or will face a rocky ride to disaster?
Who knows, but I genuinely feel that Wednesday night was a watershed for us and has now given us back the confience and belief we had a few months ago!!
Greaves, i believe too, thats what worries me
Hopefully that momentum will carry us through, and no doubt Villa are really struggling. They will park the bus against us and they could be seriously caught out - thats what im believing
doo doos...........................................Yes it will be interesting to hear from everyone who has blasted DL & HR over the lack of quality signings in January.
My own belief is that suitable players were not available and DL also had Harry's court case plus even then HR was being touted to take over England after Euros. Would you give £40m to a guy who was possibly leaving the club? I know I wouldn't!
Greaves, i am a bag of nerves mate but you know what, i am so bloody happy with have this oppotunity now to grab 3rd when a few weeks ago 3rd was near enough out of sight. It would just be the icing on the cake if we could get 2 wins and secure 3rd on the last game of the season hey .....COME ON BOYS!!!!
Don..........................I know and its great isn't it? I said to the doom mongers then that we can still get CL football and that things can change with a couple of results going our way!
Here we are and things are now going our way!!
Have a look on the Arsenal board, they are tearing their hair out and some are once again calling for Wenger to go.
Some are even saying they might end up 6th!!
I would love it, just love it if they did!!,laugh>
Would absolutely love to finish in 3rd. Imagine being able to sit back and relax during the euros knowing that we don't have to qualify for the CL. Happy days. Finishing 3rd could be the biggest thing to happen to our club in years and potential push us on further.
Tbh I just want to be in the champions league again!
"I would love it, just love it if they did"
I agree with what you say about the transfer window, Levy would rather finish fifth than waste money, ...I think Harry will be with us next season, and if so, will be spending fairly big in the upcoming transfer window.
Bristol, spot on there mate ...it would be a huge achievement for us to finish 3rd
Finishing 3rd would so sweet, because it means we were ahead of Arsenal, however Newcastle finishing 4th behind us would be the cream on the cake!!
Let's be honest any players signed this summer will be Levy players not Harry players
With quite a few player sales this summer expected I can see more then the 40-60 million quoted being spent.
was kyle junior playing ? did he have a good game ?
Yes Robert....He had a very important 'touch' late on..
are we talking handball here by any chance ??????
i better have a read of the match report i think
Good article Greaves, decent read, cheers

I like to eat the doo doo's

You mean in terms of keeping our excitement going to the very end, when what should have been a nailed-on 3rd place finish (at least) went down to the wire and counted on Arsenal imploding?
Um, yes, it's certainly kept the end of season interesting, and thus been a huge success
kimchi..................................nice to see you are keeping your spirits high or have you not really undersood what supporting Spurs really means?? It is in the team's DNA to make sure its a roller coaster ride with highs and lows when we least expect them!!
