Do that against a Villa side that rarely ventures into the opposing penalty area and we will win comfortably.

Bale behind modric could work an absoloute treat. never thought of it before. it just struck me today, like a norwich thunderbolt you could say. it also allows us to play sandro and livermore.

I honestly didnt expect this reaction.
i dont want to get into arguments with anyone on this, but in my opinion, it is a better team than several harry has chosen to put out. it clearly isnt the worst team ever.
Heard that Parker is back in training a day or so ago, If Harry kicks Sandro out for Parker tomorrow I will be absolutely fuming

i thought he was outstanding in the FA Cup semi final, and played well after that.
he's not the futur though. we have to put faith on sandro (and ideally livermore).

Livermore has done well but i doubt he will be at spurs next season, and he is certainly not good enough for us to be pinning our midfield hopes on.

i agree with much of what you say. with regards though to the bit which i have copied and pasted above, i would have the followingpoints :
1) i dont think modric is wasted on the left personally (but i appreciate that that point is very much my own opinion). he was excellent for us on the left before he broke his leg. the beauty of it is though that with bale at left back (theoretically), he should be able to play inside alot. i remember a game against wolves when kaboul played basicaly the whole right flank on his own. bale could effectively do this.
2. i agree there's potentially an issue with bale going awol. effectively giving him the whole left side though should keep him happy.
3. i agree it's not perfect trying it tomorrow. i think it would work though . bale's 1st touch is so much better than rose's though.

i think you underestimate him though chronic. seriously. he's got a pass, a tackle and a turn of pace on him. you cant say that about many of the midfielders weve had in the last few years. i very much hope we hang on to him personally. .

So if you've never thought of it before, where were you for that whole season?
