The TV money by keeping Rangers in would make up for it, diddy clubs with diddy ideas <laughs>
Would an Old Firm derby with a group of youngsters up against Celtic not just be the same as a Diddy club up against Celtic ?
just like Dundde Utd up against Rangers the other day!
And Rangers against Celtic a couple of weeks ago
Deflect away Marky.
The facts remain that there is more to Scottish football than Rangers survival, you might not like it, but if Rangers get a free pass 1000's will turn their back on the game in Scotland.
Bet they will, what will they fill there time with, tiddlywinks?

final disinterest is the 4 games a season against the the same teams, the SPL will use the whole Rangers thing as a smokescreen and then just carry things on as normal to deflect!
Shortterm is all they care about!

What?
14,500 People watched SPL games outwith the OF game last weekend, believe you me, if fans feel the moral outrage of free pass Rangers, the game in Scotland is finished as a spectator sport.

Most fans from every other club in the SPL seem to have made up their minds that they will not be back, even if only a third hold true its still a third thats gonna make a massive differance, there was less than 6,000 at the dons v hibs mid week they are 2 of the top 5 supportted teams in scotland its already bad enough if a rangers newco walk sraight into the SPL i feel it could be the last straw for a lot of fans.
To me the chairmen letting rangers back in is a sign that they value rangers more than there own life long fans, this is a golden chance to create some exitment in a dying league if they dont take it then for me it will be dead.
What would stop the other ten clubs along with Celtic resigning from the league, then founding their own league and inviting some other clubs from the SFL to join that league too?
This horrible scenario, should be used as a way of actually changing the game for the better. By splitting the TV revenue and trying to get more fans through the turnstiles. Because, clubs such as Aberdeen and Hibs got decent crowds before, it's not that they don't have fans, it's that a lot of their fans have turned their backs on the clubs. For many understandable reasons.

Yeah well said henrik, somebody said the other day what did managers do be before they got tv money.??? And the guy replied they developed and built teams, instead of just buying them!!!!
This is our golden chance to change one of the worst leagues in europe, if its not taken then i do think the fans will hold back in huge numbers, wouldnt want to be the first team to host rangers next season, which ever team it is the home fans should turn up but just not go in, stay outside with flags and scarfs that should send out a message.

Pie in the sky!
The diddy chairmen of the diddy clubs wil always be diddies no matter how much Rangers look like diddies!
This is a poor league because the lunatics are well and truly running the asylum.
If people want to blame it all on finances that is fine, but why do countries with worse co-efficients than Scotland's produce competitive title races?
We need to share the money, cut ticket prices and have more 3pm kick offs.
A Sky deal cannot be the be all and end all, of a national game.
The non-Old Firm clubs receive £800,000 a year from the Sky deal. Is that really a lot in the grand scheme of things?
When clubs sign young players at the age of sixteen and seventeen, I think they should be a bit cleverer and start introducing clauses in their contracts. English clubs are stealing them before they have even played a season.
Jim mCcLEAN USED TO MAKE PROMISING YOUNG PLAYERS SIGN 10 YEAR CONTRACTS, BUT SADLY eURPOEAN COURT OF HUMAN RUGHTS DONT AGREE WITH THIS AS THEY THINK IT IS A SLAVE TRADE!
Marky, when Fabregas was at Arsenal he signed an eight year contract, so when he wanted to leave they got £35million for him. Whereas, with Van Persie, his contract is due to expire and he will leave for a lot less.
I'm just talking at least a five year contract, with clauses.
