Although my article is obviously geared up with a bit of Wumming intended, I do understand what you are saying.

I really do think the club should be punished, but this should be in an appropriate manner.

We are being punished for becoming insolvent. The punishment for this should be appropriate. In England, clubs are deducted points for one season (fair enough if the SPL want to double this, to two years, but further than this is pushing it). Remember, the rules getting put in place here are to be used against any other clubs that become insolvent. These are not just 'big bad rangers' rules.

This, IMO puts Miller in the driving seat.

I would assume that he has held initial talks with the SFL - I would have thought that Div 3 teams would trip over themselves for a year of Rangers funded income.

TCD - liquidation as you describe is a complete firesale of all assets individually, like when an office based company goes bust and all the furniture is sold off a chair at a time etc.

That is not going to happen.

If the OldCo is unsuccessful in getting a CVA agreed (and in the circumstances there is no reason they would be anything other than successful), then that company - that registered entity would be wound up.

The Club, the assets, THE HISTORY, etc would all be safe & sound in the NewCo.

I know this winds you up, but frankly my concern is only that Rangers exist next season.

They may say officially, they may not.

But as of today, despite what so called journos on Radio total and utter crap on 102.5 were stumbling about today (honestly, where do they get these clowns?), no ruling has been made.

There has been no change to Rangers' set up as of today.

Until the exact analysis of Rangers' new set up, if there is one, is completed, no ruling CAN be made.
