Look on the bright side - at least we're not Burnley.
Shame to see you go. Venky's must be a warning for all clubs thinking a rich owner can move them forward. They tinkered with a fairly stable team, made some ludicrous statements, sacked a respected Premier League manager, replaced him with a novice and said there were no funds left.
I just hope you don't become another Leeds, or worse, Portsmouth.
Yeah pretty much now. You never know in football and all that but it'll take something of a miracle.
True although it's much cheaper to take your family to a game if you're a Burnley fan with mums and dads doubling up as sisters and brothers...
Thanks Marked Man, it seems that only fans who have also sufferred from shocking owners understand our plight

The lying c*** will just make up some nonsense about dew and penalty box entries

Yeah but no one will believe him
Farewell cruel Premier League
We are going where we belong as we dont deserve to stay up and that is the blunt honest truth as much as it makes me sad to say this.
Never mind. At least Veny's will be investing that big, fat parachute payment into the squad. We will be back!
So Rovers beat Wigan 2-0 tomorrow, then next weekend City beat QPR by at least 3 goals, Bolton don't beat Stoke and Rovers beat Chelsea 1-0 to stay up on goals scored. Or we lose to Wigan...
Aye and me and Rover will go and dine together in a fancy restaurant.I really hope that something happens but its just not on.

Easy as that,no problems we can do it
I'm going to need a drink tomorrow i don't think i can watch it without one.
We are going down
Stayed away from here recently as the whole situation with Rover's has been depressing me, but it feels the right time to say it...
It has been a pleasure to support a team who has made more than a fist of it in this league, given us highs and lows, trips to Europe, some heroes, some villains, some great goals and matches, 'giant' killings and at the same time us being beat by the 'minnows'. At the end of the day, a club from a town with a population of just over 100000 people, with a smaller fanbase than most and in an area surronded by footballing giants, these last 10 years have given me a lot of pride to wear the blue and white halves. We may not be everyones cup of tea, but our small little town has shown everyone at some point that Blackburn Rovers is a proud and well supported club (no matter what the WUMs say).
I am gutted our farewell to the league is like this, and like most, I fear it will be a long time before we are back, but if the last 18 months are ignored, I have some fantastic memories of 'little' Rovers in the Premiership mixing it with the 'big boys' and very few big city fans will ever know the pride I have felt for our club from a little town being at the top of English football.
2 more games to enjoy at this level, and although the club I love is not the same as it was, those memories will stay forever!
COYB!
well said henface - other generations of Rovers fans have never seen anything like the last 20 years at ewood- hopefully i will see it again at some stage- I'm a bit greedy!
Yeah, I want it back too mate at some point. Hopefully in a situation when we as Rovers fans can be proud of our club once more.
