You can say that again
Fantastic players - Yes
Legends - No (chance RVP could become one if he stays longer)
Fabregas is not a legend. While he is probably the most talented midfielder we have had at the club and his stats are very very impressive, his 7/8 years at the club do not warrant anywhere near legend status. He left before his prime so that is that for him.
Van Persie isn't a legend either. Although he does have the chance to be one. He is the 8th highest Arsenal goal scorer of all time, and another season with a similar scoring record as this year would move him into the top 4. If he stays at Arsenal until he retires then he can definitely be called a legend. While it is a shame he spent a lot of time in the injury room, he has given his all when he has been on the pitch and his contributions in most games are immeasurable.
Depends what makes a legend in your eyes.
If it's the amount of time someone stays at a club, or their actual ability.
neither of them are legends, RVP could be if he stayed a few years. Guys like Adams, Henry, Bergkamp are legends. We've had loads of great players but people throw around legend too easily.
Charlie George is considered a legend, though you could argue that is partly because he is a local lad, who played for the club and won medals.

United fans certainly consider Ronaldo to be a legend. He's got the winners medals from his time there but he was only there for 6 years.

Exactly.
Ray Parlour is more of a legend than Fabregas.
Why? Cause he stuck around?
THAT goal in the FA Cup final against Chelsea would secure anyone legendary status.
RVP is a legend, he's scored more goals than Bergkamp (I know he was mostly a no. 10) in far fewer appearances and has carried the team this year. He also has a genuine love for the club which is unusual for a foreigner, whether it stops him leaving is another issue, but I reckon he'll stay and confirm his status.
not just because he stuck around, he would die for Arsenal. Fabregas was a great player player, the fans loved him but never in the same way as Henry.
