He's part of the problem in NI. Better off with him and his sectarian baggage. Break a leg at the Euros James....break a leg.

He didnt say that, your literally making up your story as it goes along.

He actually said 'any catholic who said they felt comfortable lplaying for NI would be lying.'

Can see what he means.

Is there anything about McClean in the Strabane Chronicle Mungo?

posted on 12/5/12

Godfather, has Mclean not said there weren't enough Catholics in the NI squad for his liking??

posted on 13/5/12

No Tia why? Nah he said he didnt feel comfortable as there werent many catholics. If it was a black guy saying he didnt feel comfortable as there wasnt any black guys there would be no big deal.

Wouldnt that mean your being racist against white people?

Go easy on him!

So McClean is black now is he,the fella cant decide what to be ,apart from being an overweight windbag

Sigh. If a black guy felt out of place in an all white enviorment means he is suddenly racist? Sigh.

^^^^And how is McClean overweight? You must be stick thin if you consider that overweight.

Like his apologists on these pages, Mclean appears to endorse sporting apartheid where presumably he prefers that the NI squad is all prods and ROI is all Catholics.

Sorry James. Ni's team has always fielded and always will field players from both the main traditions in our wee country.

You talking about Billy McCourt & Trevor McGinn ?

And the fans will continue to chant sectarian songs, boo and send bombs to catholic players etc yet still scratch there head as to why the cream of nationalists player in NI continue to reject NI.

Let's take a look once again at these free thinkers who love 'our wee country' and know how to make people from all backgrounds feel welcome both in the stands and on the pitch..........................http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3ZgfdQeBjs

CP you being a good Belfast born and reared UK citizen know what McClean said..................

The kid is a bigot who wants to play in a Catholic only team lol................

He is the type who if he lived in Alabama in the 50's would want to play for a whites only team lol.............

Get over it dude.............

Why is it they think a handful of knuckledraggers are representative of the NI support?

If a wee proddie boy said there are not enough prods at Celtic, and among the tricolour wavin bhoys,I wonder how the McClean fan club here would respond?
Or Ulster rugby players turning out for Ireland, bringing up the religion and identity of team mates and fans,

Think about it.
