"Will have to think about that, Harry has possibly cost us third with one of the strangest subs ever made"

Damage was done way before then.
That is what Redknapp should be judged for (more so if Bayern fail) .

yeah, it was, but the isnt the point that it didnt matter after norwich got a result ? none of it mattered, it just came down to 2 games and we couldnt do it. worse than that, we didnt even try to do it. instead of going for our most vital win, we played for a draw which was of no use whatsoever. unbelievable.

"none of it mattered"

If you cannot get the points when there was less pressure, then don't expect them to be got when the pressure is really on.

Anybody would think we just got relegated, we have all but sealed CL football and everybody is moaning.

RDBD - I know we played a huge part in our own downfall, but we've had no help by way of luck along the way. And then today one of the poorest goalkeeping performances you're likely to see gave Arsenal all the help they needed in winning.

Bale's - good man I went to a party once out in the country, they had a good bit of land and some garages way away from the house. Opened the doors and...they had a Spitfire and some other plane in there. We tried to fire them up (we were pished ) but luckily they didn't work (probably had to spin the propeller or some other such nonsense).

Not sure what I'm saying here (other than that I am now pished again ) but if you get a chance to dive-bomb Fulopbribe's house (and possibly take out our set piece coach while you're up there) then do it mate please

Gutted...we should have had third this season, no doubt. Damn you FA, I think that was what mainly scuppered us...

But cheers to all, been a good season on here, and thoroughly enjoyed all the match threads

why is everyone so negative FFS!!! We did all we could today and yes i am angry at us dropping the 10 point lead but that's bloody done now. We got the result today but it was Fulop the hungarian w anker who gifted arsenal 3rd, what can we do about that? We still currently are in the champoions league, it's a game i think Bayern will win so let's be positive for FFS!!! we finished 4th

That big gap WAS our luck. We blew it.
And for those who believe Spurs really are unlucky, then the CL final is a foregone conclusion.

I am pleased that Spurs again finished top 4 after the nightmare in August, and the <Citeh> Sugga Daddy project realised. Apart from the absence of cup silverware, my Spurs of the 80s is more or less back.

Have to side with Robert, although you make a good point RDBD - while we should have tied up third (at least - if not challenging!) long long before that, I think you can only react to where you are in the present time.

22 shots against Villa, 19 corners, 62% possession - at that point it was ALL in our hands. And Harry brought on Parker when we needed to win. He says he can barely read - I think he can't count the fingers on one hand, and we need a simple arithmetic coach (one with an abacus with about six beads on it would do) if we're going to persist with Harry

The result of the game may have been the same, but that was the key moment in recent weeks for me.

Oh well, all's done It says a lot I think that we're disappointed with fourth, so my huge reservations aside I'll have to say give Harry one more season (but no more feckin oaps signed please!!)

Cheers lads, been a great craic on here

And even in creating that gap we had bad luck along the way. Anyway I'm not going to reflect too much on the bad luck aspects. Overall we had a good season, but we did monumentally blow 3rd place. The Villa, Norwich and Arsenal games stick out the most in that respect.

but i was half right, you scraped through and struggled against west brom and had to rely on a rubbish keeper to hand you 3rd, typical arsenal luck
