Take neither. It won't make a jot of difference.
How is pathetic? Its the right thing to do.
All because of an attention seeking QPR fan.
As far as I know Terry is more than happy to play alongside Rio.
So if Rio doesn´t want to play alongside Terry then he´ll have to stay home for the Euros.
Simples.

I think it's better for everyones wives if Terry goes.
"Simples."
Not really. How do we know that Rio is the only one in the squad who has a problem with Terry?
Superb no Ferdinand should go. Terry should have a nice long summer break.
I genuinely don't want any Chelsea players at the Euros.
--------------------------------------------------------
I fully see your point Gazza.
I´d happily withdraw all Chelsea players from the circus that is England so that they are nicely rested over the summer and not traumatised by the usual shennanigans that happen with England
Thinking rationally about it, Terry has that partnership already with Cahill at club level, and I think that could be beneficial to England to continue with that at international level.
Part of the reason Spain are so successful is because they have players that understand one another's game from playing together at their clubs, no?
I am of the opinion, and it is only an opinion, that John Terry is thoroughly disliked amongst most P.L. Footballers.
I would have no hesitation in supportin the England Manager, whoever it was, in leaving him at home.

Hah...what have Spain ever won? Biggest underachievers in Europe.

Good, it ain´t a popularity contest.
Wouldn't take either of them
Lescott Cahill smalling Jagielka will be ok
If it was, England would not win that either.
Smalling's out.
Jones then
I don't see the reason why you would take Ferdinand anyway. He is way past it now and wouldn't be able to cope with the intensity of a major tournament (based on past tournaments) I think if Ferdinand had a problem with Terry he should step down from the England team. As its still only allegations.
There are plenty of other English CB who deserve to start over Ferdinand... Lescott, Cahill, Shawcross. Who have a future with England and the euros will give them much needed experience.
How's it pathetic? Its the bravest decision an England manager has made for years.
The manager should pick the squad on merit. If a player then has a problem he has thr right to withdraw from the squad. The idea that players have a say in who the manager picks sets a bad precedent.
Secondly, when Chelsea played QPR the PL cancelled the team handshake because if Anton refused to shake JT´s hand it could have implications for the legal case.........
But now we have a situation exactly the same in that if JT is not picked for England because RIO will not play with him..........
Pathetic..........

Its cowardly................not brave
Just a reminder...............innocent untilproven guilty

Pretty worthless without any significant supporting evidence
So you'd rather go to a tournament where there are rifts in the squad. Hodgson's job is to go out there and do the best thing for England.
Personally, I would have dropped Terry and Ferdinand after the last world cup. Capello wasn't brave enough to do it. If Hodgson does drop one, for whatever reason, it is a brave decision.
We have plenty of CBs who can replace either.
Just a reminder...............innocent untilproven guilty

He hasn't said who he'll drop yet. As your article says, he'll only take one of Ferdinand or Terry. He might drop Rio. In which case, you have no point.
