AVB backed off with cryuff as DOF.
No laughing matter - i like it
I think it might work. Shoot me down if you will.
Doubt it to be honest, we put a clause in Carlos contract saying he couldn't manage another pl club for a year or two and i'm guessing we done the same with AVB.
Hope you don't get him either because no doubt he'd work wonders at your club, i reckon you'll get Martinez but hope you get Mcleish
AVB's a good choice, also what about the Lille manager Rudi Garcia?
SuperChelseaFC
Source for that clause?
wasn't it paddy power who paid out early on man united winning the title, and not for the first time either. i'd hardly say they have any expert knowledge.
I'll wait for the official announcement I think.
Quite worried if true though.
Christ what a day.
My dream would be Conte, don't see why he'd leave Juve to manage us though.
That was Betfred.
I think Chelsea agreed to keep paying AVB's salary until he finds another job. Not sure about the clause SuperChelsea is on about.
Looks like Raul Meireles will have to pack his bags again.

I said " i'm guessing " just because we done it with Carlo, obviously i might be wrong but it just might have been in the terms of his compo
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Shown to be a flop at Chelsea, so what makes you think he'll work here??
No, i meant whats your source that they did it to carlo
Carlo Ancelotti is set for a year on the sidelines when he leaves Stamford Bridge - because of a clause in his contract.
Ancelotti is preparing himself for the Stamford Bridge axe, 12 months after becoming the first manager in the club’s history to win the league title and FA Cup Double.
While the Italian wants to stay in England and is set to turn down the chance to return to former club Roma, Ancelotti will not be able to go back into management in this country unless there is a change of heart by the Chelsea hierarchy.
It's understood that under the terms of the three-year deal Ancelotti signed when he joined Chelsea in 2009, he is not allowed to work for another Premier League club within 12 months of leaving Stamford Bridge.
Damn. Your back if it's true. Give him a clean slate, a healthy budget, and you'll be playing champagne football within no time. And as much as i'm betraying my team by saying this, he deserves this opportunity to show us first hand what we threw away.

Use google to find it
he was my first choice to replace Roy
Now I want Klopp.
Or Rafa obviously but that's not going to happen is it.
Was on skysports after he got sacked, only link i can find on google is this one http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Carlo-Ancelotti-faces-a-year-on-the-sidelines-if-he-is-sacked-as-Chelsea-manager-because-a-clause-in-his-contract-bans-him-from-working-for-another-Premier-League-club-for-12-months-after-leaving-the-club-article737070.html
I don't think he was given a proper chance at Chelsea, not with the senior players at least.
I think he could attract players, he plays attacking football and brings in youngsters. I do have concerns about his defensive capabilites however.
I'm guessing if AVB does take over Liverpools first two signings will be Bosingwa and Meireles but then Hulk might join them
Dont be silly. Hulk is not AVB's son. He is coming to us
If its AVB watch out for Hulk... appearing at Anfield shortly!

He was a victim of circumstance. Had nothing to do with being out of his depth, etc... he was given a brief to revolutionise a team with more political pull than ability, and Roman lost his nerve at the first sign of resistance. You'll give him the foundation to build he deserves from us.
