well it would seem we are about to find out in a proper court.

Its to everyones benifit we find out if they are acting within the law.

If they are so be it we take it and move on

Think you need to keep talking to the trees.

I am with you on this, if there are rules already set in place then we must accept them, however, if the SFA are manufacturing rules to suit their own agenda then we cannot accept this.

Article 95 of SFA rules allows subjective/discretion in punishments.

Basically it is saying although you signed up to these rules, we can change them if we want

It looks that way Brum

They are a football authority govening what is after all a game.

If they are acting within the law, much as I think its very harsh we may have to live with it.

However can the Newton Mearns Badminton club be stopped from having a coffee morning by the badminton authorities?

Can the SFA stop a business from employing people?

Even if its in their rules that does not mean its legal

You made it their business by employing highly paid footballers with this very same money. You even increased some contracts and paid for new additions.

I suppose by not paying the circa £10m tax you have had an unfair advantage on your opponents.

If you didn;t have the £10m you wouldn't have been able to pay the wages to keep the players at your club.

But are you honestly suggesting it just got lost or soemthing?

"Now; where could it be?

==

Ging how you doing?

Is that not the point though.

We know plenty of money did get 'lost'

Their are only 2 issues as I see it.

1/ Are the action of Whyte the same as the action of Rangers?

The SFA seem to be saying yes.

2/ Do the sanctions fit the crime.

The SFA again say yes.

Where as the Rangers legal people are saying no on the first charge meaning the second is heavy handed.

If the SFA are forced into removing the transfer banbecause it was actually listed as an option then the one they invented this as the alternative too is most likely.
Nowing when not to fight is a required wisdom for any leader. Unfortunately from a Rangers point of view the club is without one .
