Caulker - played one ok season in the premiership for Swansea never played for our first team and never got a full cap for his country!
So I would choose vertonghan over caulker! Caulker does look a good prospect but not ready yet
It's all very well having experience in Nelson but not on playing wages. It's a waste of time having him here even if we only get Caulker back. If Caulker and JV turn up then i reckon we'll lose Nelson and Gallas.

cv sounds impressive but the time i saw him he was complete and utter shyyyte.
granted anyone can have a bad game but i would be amazed if there is anyone on here who can tell me that they have seen him play ten times and he has been fantastic.
as i said, fine get him, but dont expect him to be the messiah when he comes. he could be.. but dont expect it. one mistake and i bet you everyone is on his back because people think we are buying some kind of superstar
Yea he could be a flop but I have watched him at least 5 times over last couple of seasons and was impressed with him.
Calm and composed on the ball, likes to bring it out of defence has good positional sense. But also good going forward ( think of kabul but can make a pass ) got a mean shot on him oh and I've seen him score a few headers from corners <divas>
I don't like the way people are bigging up caulker let him develop another year.
Remember last summer people saying Kane should become our ' new striker ' didn't really impress did he!

so if we are insisting on bringing him back i think we have to back him like we did with walker, and put him straight into the first team.. or he is better off on loan.
