We want Rafa back. He bought Alonso, Mascherano, Lucas, Reina, Torres, Agger. I know he brought some flops but he brought more quality than average with little money. He can bring more world class players to Anfield. We have missed them.

This article doesn't suggest that the fans are split. I've seen a lot of support of this idea.
I don't see any reason why Fsg wouldn't talk to him and then see how far ahead of the other candidates he is.

yes......................Rafa. We are slowly going through a list of managers.....some are plausible ie Martinez, Rodgers (who has said no), others............. Pep Guardiola are really pie in the sky and wishful thinking. Then there is Rafa who is sat quietly on the side lines not saying anything........until...............well I must admit I think I will nip to the bookies and have a few bob on him returning. For me out of all the plausible ones he stands alone as the man with the unfinished business.
FSG just give the man the interview, you may be suprised.

Rafa for me too. He will also be welcomed by Segura and Rodolfo. The reserves/academy will continue to progress, no DOF (3 people will take on the responsibilities of this role - no absolute power to one person) It is a perfect set up. A few good spanish players added to the squad. It would be heaven.
