Mario gomez has never hit 42 in a season. I am refering to 07/08.
Please check your facts.
Yeah and seeing as football is generally about putting the ball in the net, it's why scorers like gomez are deemed world class.
Drogba is more than just a goalscorer, unlike Gomez who only has that too his game.

How can you not acknowledge this Stretty?
Yeah he may do, that does not mean I have to agree he is world class.
I dont think the blokes even close.
Rooney has more to his game than just goals but he hits more than drogba. He isnt world class either though.
World class strikers hit big numbers reguarly.
So you think Gomez is world class but Rooney is not? Now I've heard it all.
Rooney didn't have more to his game than prime Drogba.
Rooney is top 5 best strikers in the world.
Gomez may have scored more goals himself during certain seasons, but Drogba may have led to his TEAM playing better and scoring more goals, in addition to a good tally himself.
I don't have statistics to back this up, but there's more to being a great player than scoring goals.
Stretty is Hafijur Junior.

Wasnt including but countries games, but You have actually aided my point.
The blokes a pure goal machine.
This guy is such an attentionwhore. Dragging this out for as long as possible.
Opta Sports @OptaJoe
166:47 - Of the 22 players to have scored 100 or more PL goals, Didier Drogba had the fifth best mins per goal ratio (166:47). Hero.
Consistent enough for you?
The man who is always right
You can keep his skills, I would prefer the Fulham lad, @ £10m a real bargain and would really get us in front of City.

Who the feck is the Fulham lad
Ffs and he doesn't think Drogba was world class but Mario Gomez is
What an idiot.
Makes me laugh aswell when people talk about drogbas goals per season.
If you look at his goals to games its something like 1 in 2 for chelsea.
