Yeh I could get a rating from a site such as goal.com doesn't mean I agree with that view. Coentrao made a mistake for the goal as described but there was a reason why he was picked ahead of Marcelo.

Was prominent down the left flank as an offensive threat, particularly in the early stages, but he struggled to contain the forward running of Robben. Even when the Dutchman was not in possession, his positioning was rather suspect.
Messi just scored a great goal. Hat-trick. Brazil 3-4 Argentina.

Flop of the Match - 2/5
Let the ball fall to Ribery for the opener, and four times needlessly conceded chances to Gomez. Lost his focus in the key moments.
They have Ramos down as the worst player.
It's not like the rest of the defence covered itself in glory. I don't think Coentrao was that bad but regardless It shouldn't matter as one bad performance doesn't make or break a player.
He was decent today.
