such a soft goal

It would be a nice gesture alright, but Tallaght is a much better stadium.

Cracking game tonight, awful goal for Mannus to concede, but Derry's keeper pulled off three great saves. Rovers were hard done by in the end, they deserved at least a point.

Why not reward all the Irish fans by playing in London or Glasgow Robbie,as so many Irish folk left the old sod to live in a successful, multi cultural British state?
I take it you want NI fans to attack your Brandywell idea,in order to start a wee sectarian, political debate.....you are a wee tinker with your love of Ulster based ROI fans.
Hook us all in with your craic and blarney......jog on Robbie and change your agenda,as it is so boring and transparent.
We get it,some people in NI support the Eire team. How interesting.I hear a few punters in Dublin support Britsh teams Robbie.....mad world mate.

You do realise the ROI team are poor Robbie, just like NI,but there are two teams on this island, and three international teams on the island that is Britain.Your aspirations and posts will not alter this reality.

w a r, what did Robbie do or say to outrage you so much?

we are rangers,

I think Robbie would have posted this on the Tuaisceart Éireann pages if it was intended to wind up Tuaisceart Éireann supporters

Did I sound outraged Conlig,as I can assure you I am chilled, looking forward to the Twelfth, holidays, sunshine and Rangers and Linfield doing the business this year again.
I am also wise to the agenda being pushed by some ROI fans based in NI.If you do not mind,I will comment on any matter I wish to.

Why do you dislike Conlig?

Some people in NI support ROI???/ More like half. Even prods are starting to support ROI these days. Shows how sad a situation NI are.

So what evidence do you have that "prods" as you so kindly put it , are starting to support ROI?

Frankos, yes i agree Tallaght Stadium would also be a good idea.
But my reasoning behind hosting matches in the Brandywell would be more of a gesture by the FAI to thank all the fans from the North who have followed the ROI home and away over the years.

And remember too we have a few Derry born players in our squad already and more to follow over the coming years.

For instance the ROI staged two internationals last year at Thomond Park in Limerick. Limerick remember is a Rugby city and i can't remember the last time a Limerick born player was capped by the ROI.

So why not stage a ROI match in a City where there is a massive support for the team.i.e Derry. It makes sense to me

I don't hate Conlig I just think its a wee hole. Full of people stuck in a time warp and the town looks like an Olympic village with all the track suits and fake gold.
Enjoy the 12th but any true loyalist would know that William of Orange won the battle of the Boyne on July 1st but due to a conflict of interest (probably a drug deal knowing loyalists) it was pushed back to July 12th to suit the masses. Since then the confused Orange Order have celebrated on the 12th.

I have to admit Londonderry gets a bad rep, its a lovely city, some cracking architecture and great pubs................

It really does rival Belfast..............
