Pity Lloyd that my sister's an Australian and a Leeds fan, so I know a little more than you do.

So stick your foot back in your mouth from whence it came and stop making yourself look stupid. There are still many, many Leeds United fans out there, fans since the 60' and 70's when emigration was common and Leeds were one of the top teams England for many years.

I have little problem accessing Leeds games when I'm out there, such are the number of fans - I can usual track one down in most of the main cities wherever I am. Funny - you knew about the Leeds games, but no mention of Forest. They probably assumed you were talking about National Parks

Lived in Australia for a year did you Lloyd? Ha Ha. What you mean, is you went backpacking and came back again - exactly what my sister did initially and then went and settled there.

This was a good sensible thread until the few forest fans seem unaware how many fans leeds have across the worldchampionship play off final 2006,ssn reported that 200k leeds fans applied for tickets now a few forest fans who still think leeds boycotting of home matches whilst bates is at club makes you think your close to being same size then think again.it is quite easy to find out on line but the no of supporters clubs leeds have around the world would amaze most clubs.just thought have I been caught in the net or are they actually serious?

To be honest Forest and Leeds are probably amongst the biggest global brands in the English game outside of the top seven or eight in the Premiership apart from possibly Villa and maybe West Ham.
Both clubs are genuine 'sleeping giants' and with the right investment and management could be big again.
With all due respect the names of Nottingham Forest and Leeds would look less out of place in the Premiership than Wigan, Fulham, Swansea and QPR.

Why do these articles always turn into slanging matches? In this case I blame Dave Darkly as it had stayed on topic before he made that stupid comment. It would have been better to ignore him. I can't see this story being true but we can only hope. Bates' track record suggests it more likely Leeds. I'm big enough to admit that Leeds are a bigger club than Forest, at least in the way I see big clubs. Forest have a great history and should probably be a top 10 Prem side if they were run properly. But Leeds have potential to be a top 4 side when u look at fan base, stadium, history etc. Hopefully one day we'll both be back competing in the Prem.

Cannigia
both teams could hold their own in the prem if run properly.

Wow, there are some raw Leeds nerves at the moment. Not quite recovered from that mauling a few months back I guess. Plus the realisation that you'll be starting the next season with Warnock and Santa at the helm.

Does backpacking mean you didn't live in that country? Strange as it felt like I was there. In fact I was there with work and spent the year in Brisbane, quite the dullest city I've lived in, hence my return.

Apparently the negotiations are going through Seymour Pierce. The same guys who are dealing with Nigel Doughtys estate.

Either way, the sale of both Forest & Leeds over the summer will make for a VERY interesting championship season. Especially as it concerns, arguably, 2 of the biggest clubs in English history. The footballing media is going to be all over this.

JDT...calm yourself.

Little snippets in the media perhaps. Unless you're in the PL, or scandal - NO.
