tbh, i would rather keep harry than have di matteo.
i would have been quite happy if we had brought lambert in though.

I know im probably in a minority of one, but Im not that bothered about transfers.
I`m with you. That makes two of us at least.
He had a terrific season with Norwich.
Their perofrmances against us and arsenal were outstanding considering the resources they have, as was their overall league performance throughout the season. I think that in their game at the lane, 10 of their starters were local lads.
I think he could well be the next super star manager, and is destined for a top club and a very bright future I reckon.

now you must be taking the peee.
unless you mean noone better available right now? which i would just about agree with
that's what i mean.
4th, 5th, 4th (1 point off 3rd) & you want him to go
Yeah- let's bring someone else in & slip down the table
--
who said i want him to go?
i dont think i have once said that... i just am not keen on him still being about in 3 years time, mugging the club/fans off at every opportunity.
he is performing at par, and as soon as someone more proven came along i would fack him off, thus showing the same committment to him that he showed to us last season.
keep him at the moment because there is noone better available.
i do mate yeah. but i also think that keeping harry on is a bit ropey too bearing everything in mind.
club like us needs to take a risk i reckon. we cant compete with the man uniteds etc with a known quantity. as we cant beat these rich clubs by outbidding them, weve got to beat them by being quicker at them to spot the talent and to take the risk when it looks like a risk worth taking.
Appears the clubs around us are looking long term with their management recruits.

not sure i agree.. which is why i would keep harry... we cant afford a risk.
with our financial structure if we take a risk and fail then thats us mid table for a while.
if say chelsea take a risk and fail (eg AVB) then they just use their financial muscle to power their way out of it.

So what do you see as the best that is likely to be achieved with harry then and what do you see as the worst that is likely to be achieved with harry ?
I dont see that there is any guarantee, or even likelyhood, of finishing higher in the league this season with Harry than with Lambert.
All I see in Harry is a mouth who is looking after his own interests. I cant see how a bright, talented, determined and confident young manager would be likely to do any worse with the talented squad which he has available.
4th -
I think Rodgers would have been more of a risk personally.
He has very much his own style of play, and would have expected the players to fit into that. I would have thought there was more chance of conflict between him and some of our egos than with Lambert.

"now he has the audacity to put the heat on our chairman"
Put !!??
TRY to put (at the very most) .
Chronic - Nope he wouldnt stay the 3 years anyway. I cant believe what Ive heard from the ultimate 'having your cake & eating it' manager in history. Dear old Harry must be very forgetful as he doesnt remember playing us for idiots last year and now he has the audacity to put the heat on our chairman..dangerous game indeed

as much as i disagree with harry using the media to put pressure on levy, we all know, and if we dont then we should know by now, that Harry does whats in the best interests of Harry, not THFC, which is why ultimately whatever Levy decides to do he has my backing because Levy WILL act in the best interests of Spurs.
