The refs have been informed to yellow card any player that walks off, that will stop them!

i think the papers are just trying to overreact. they're doing it for readers. though racism is an issue i dont think its half as bad as people make out. dont think england is any better tbh

im half polish and ive been to polish games and to poland and not once have i seen any kind of thing that resembles racism. this is propaganda and people are taking to much into it. I hope the polish, ukrainian and other countries now do the same to england before the olympics. we'll then be even more shocked than we are now when we see what happens in this country

They should never have given the euros to poland or ukraine.

You name a country then?

Isn't the same media who printed all the robberies and looting in SA prior to the world cup?

San Marino for Euros 2016!

I remember South Africa was demonized before they hosted the WC with some peculiar folk selling "stab-proof" vests. I wouldn't call it propaganda (that's paranoid) but the British media can be rather sensationalist.

Unfortunately the picks to host the EURO's or the World Cup now, are not dissimilar to Eurovision, almost totally motivated by politics.

And they go extreme limits to grab some cheap news.

it's sensationalism.

no its propaganda

whatever it's I respect this from the players and the team. They have a stage to shove racialism down the throats of those that partake in it. if they walk of if 1 of their players is chanted as a monkey then good luck to them, walk off.

Racism is an issue in england too.

I dont agree that it shouldnt have been given to poland or ukraine.

the point is, though, that this has come directly from players. it is one thing to doubt the integrity of the British media, but ask yourself, what is the dutch team's game in all this? are they being sensationalist? i highly doubt it. If they say that some of their players were victims of racist abuse, i would be inclined to believe them.

Poland and Ukraine are not fit to host this tournament.
Families of players have decided to stay away.
The authorities are in denial about these these issues.

not sure a country that had large numbers of people rioting on the streets of several major cities last year can take too much of the morale high ground...

I have been to many of our football grounds and witnessed morons.

but again i imagine the British just assume they are whiter than white and johnny foreigner is an animal....

The dutch have decided not to make an official complaint.
The chanting also consisted of protesters making a political statement

most if not all the players and their families are reacting the way they are due to the propaganda of the media. please dont say ukraine and poland aren't fit to host it if england is no better

posted on 8/6/12

it's sensationalism not propaganda, England is not as bad as Poland or Ukraine, yes the crowds that taking part in racist chanting and banners are the minority but they are still there and are far more organized than any group here has been.

I've been to Poland and our group was abused just for being English

no its propaganda mate. have you been to poland, have you been to polish football games. I have and never has there been any racism. I can 100% promise you that.

You'd be surprised if you heard about racism in england mate

posted on 8/6/12

sorry didnt read your whole message lol last sentence didnt see

posted on 8/6/12

find me one game where there has been the organized racist abuse as there was there.

why exactly would it be propaganda? what are the papers trying to gain?

posted on 8/6/12

erm readers mate. its what they right for. im not denying that racism isnt a problem in poland but to deny the problem in england shows your ignorance. And racism can exist outside a stadium mate and theres plenty of that in england.

posted on 8/6/12

I'm not saying it's not in England, I'm saying it's a different level. A level where the players families feel threatened.

If it's just for readers it's sensationalism then.

posted on 8/6/12

yes but the papers are misleading the nature of the racism to extent to make it look so bad. by making it look bad they know more readers will read it. that is propaganda.

players families are only not going because of what they read
