Who called for Sczcseny's head? No one did!
The problem is not Arsenal fans - its the players. They have the talent but dont care enough. they are weak menatlly and fold under pressure. One day brilliant, the next terrible.
Fans comment on games.
The best example has to be Song - a world beater one game, and then the next looks like he'd struggle playing for Clacton.
Just not professional enough - and it comes from the manager who does not seem to be able to motivate them or get the to concentrate for 90 minutes.
A harsh reality I am afraid.
We need those moments to bring us back down to earth. Yet again, shezza has been pure class all season and Arshavin is a 'big game' player.
People are overreacting to Szczesny's 'mistakes' today. First goal was just an unfortunate, unlucky incident as he was about to grab the ball before his own team mate for some reason decided to block it.
The penalty he conceded was understandable. There was nothing else he could have done legally to prevent the goal. Polish defence went AWOL and left him exposed.
He's a class player who will very soon be ranked amongst the best.
Verminator, did you just copy that from another thread (that you'd written)?
But I agree with you
"The problem with us is that we are very quick in overating our players and at the same time we are very quick in putting them down."
Errr... isn't this a problem common to all football fans the world over?
Finally, an Arsenal fan speaking some sense
After a few games Koscleilny turned into the best CB in the PL.
Its not just arsenal fans, ask a liverpool fan how good skertel is ...they'll say one of the best in the PL.
Utd fans claims Valencia is the best winger in europe!
But looking closer to home, Arsenal fans are very quick to hype our players. We just need to lead the pack and show humility in our opinions and a more objective view.
Sir Scez is a good keeper but still has many flaws in his game, he gotta start saving shots for starters. But at 21 he has the time to improve.
There is only one GK who is truly class at a tender age and that is Joe Hart.
All fans are like that. You tend to be biassed towards your own player. For example I think Glen Johnson's an okrb, but Liverpool fans rate him highly, fair enough.
Spurs fans think Essou Ekotto is a decent player, but from an outside, I think he's terrible.
List goes on.
As Jayram said, its players not being professional enough. As fans we only tend to see the good side of a good player, same with everyother fan of any club.
Another example from Liverpool (nothing against them) they rate Carroll Downing etc they think they're good enough, need time. Fair enough, we don't.
Man u fans saying Bebe is decent, when everyone else knew he was shocking. Its natural.
Hart is about 4 years older than szczesny and had made mistakes that went unnoticed by the media because a) he is English b) city won games 3-1 or 4-1 when hart made mistakes

Dont worry hes still better than the 5h!te you have in goal
for the record i dont actually think de gea is 5h!te but ill continue saying it because you guys like to lie and say szczesny is when he clearly isnt 5h!te
Jayram, we had a fake account pretending to be you earlier today. Not sure the motivation behind it.
My goodness what is wrong with people
Chez is one of the most promising young goalkeepers around at the moment! He holds the number one spot at a club such as Arsenal at the age of 21? Because he has a lot of talent mixed with a lot of potential!
He IS not the best keeper in the world, but could he become? Why not?
He got sent off and people are laughing saying he's average...because Valdez/Casillas/VDS never made mistakes...
Some people honestly...
Sczensy has made a few mistakes the last season that he has got away with tbh, he'll get better but he's hasn't done too well for me yet! He's not the best in the PL but I'm sure he will be!
You get 5 stars from me just for your opening sentence.
It happens with most supporters but the Arsenal ones are overboard.
iV, thats the same reason why we say the things aboyt Chensey, as you guys keep saying De Gea sheet.
I have been arguing with non Arsenal fans for ages over Kos and Chez.
They tend to believe the media as they tend to not watch any Arsenal game to see for themselves
I agree. Rosicky and Ramsey also very underrated, vermaelen overrated. Gervinho will probably be a very good player for us, but apparently he's useless. Chamberlain has potential to be as good as hazard but he's not there yet...and it goes for our team as a whole - we either seem to be capable of winning the league or not good enough to compete for anything ever.
Its only natural to hype up your own players, but some times its a case of blind loyalty.
I am not sure if any of you do rate Gervinho at all but i simply just cannot
see him ever turning into anything like
decent for you. Wenger has bought a dud there in my opinion.
Nobody rates Gervinho, one of Wenger's worst buys.
You can see why it happens though. For years we've been buying young talent, young players will always blow hot and cold in terms of form. The Arsenal fans will know what these players are capable of, but fans of other teams will only want to focus on their weak points.
What we have to do as fans is stick by our players, regardless of form.
