Logical

In that case we may as well sell Marin because of Hazard

posted on 9/6/12

Marin is good back-up though and a good squad player. Sturridge is not a good back up or squad player, not to mention he'll only end up throwing his toys out the pram, his ego can't fit on the bench

Hypothetics. He's still here after (rightfully) spending the best part of 2012 on the bench. They are both good players who'll improve, I just don't see why we couldn't have them battling it out at RM and focusing on other areas.

Sturridge will be sold to Liverpool.

Torres will be sold to Athletico

Sturridge would fit in well at Liverpool, full of over-rated garbage players

Yeah, yeah

RW is needed more and so Hulk
Sturridge doesn't want to play there and doesn't work hard enough
Ramires can not play RW all season because he's not good enough. Only good there in the big games on the counter

Why can't Marin play there? Sturridge has said he wants to play CF but is happy playing RW in the meantime and it's just about development, plus he will work harder with competition.

Marin is better as an inverted winger. LW squad player.

Marin's been out of form for around two seasons, and having Hazard, Mata and Marin makes us so weak. Sturridge said he sees himself as a centre forward, i can guarantee you if we played RW again this season he'd leave. Then there's the problem of his selfishness

posted on 9/6/12

Hulk is just as selfish as Sturridge, always looking to shoot from what I've seen of him. And he wouldn't be playing every game, just swapping with Marin. They are both talents and if we get the best out of one of them via competition I do think we'll reap the benefits.

Having Hazard, Mata, Marin, Sturridge, Kakuta, Ramires and then likes of Piazon isn't weak at all

Lets play him rw then and then let him leave in January .
We need Hulk and we'll soon see if the club agrees with all of us or TBK

Like I said, watching Spurs play a lot, it is quite brilliant watching Modric keeping attacks flowing and starting them off as well. We should definitely be looking to get a player like that in our team.

Hulk is much more of a team player than Sturridge. He has a tendency to cut in and shoot, but you'll actually see him go down the line and provide assists. Kakuta is just average and has attitude problems. Sturridge should be rotating with Torrs, already commented on Marin and Ramires. If RW wasn't a pressing concern then we wouldn't be going for one. Also though Sturridge doesn't want to play there so you should take him from that list anyway

Hulks long shots has a purpose though. He keeps defences on their toes and draws them away from his team mates before making a pass. Sturridge is just selfish.

Hulk is far less selfish than Sturridge, he often goes down the line and crosses with his right foot grabbing a ton of assists.

I guess it's just that me and you rate players differently. Like I rate Kakuta pretty highly, think he's more than just average. I also don't think Hulks that good..we'll see

posted on 9/6/12

Kakuta will probably play better with better players though

posted on 9/6/12

I don't rate Kakuta at all think he is awful, but to be fair he has played for average teams so he might excel in a better team as he has all the qualities to succeed.

Kakuta will be good.

Hulk is better then Sturridge, but why is there soo much hate for Sturridge? Wasn't he our joint top scorer in the league, whilst playing out of position?

He definitely deserves to be played upfront next season. I don't see how he is overrated, he seems underrated to me.

2 seasons ago played well in the FA cup, went to Bolton scored 8 in 12 games, came back to us and got joint top scorer in the league, for us, whilst playing out of position. And still Downing and Ox got the nod ahead of him.

Selling Sturridge will be a big mistake which will come back to bite us.

Why does Sturridge deserve anything? He has played with a ridiculous sense of entitlement and the way he has stropped in the 2nd half of the season while saying he should be a central striker is outrageous.

Further to that I don't see Sturridge improving with us. To improve further he needs a radical change in his outlook to football and his own ability. I don't see that happening with us.

^^ Thats why Sam. Totally agree Gazza some people just think because he has scored goals he has been brilliant
