Great manager but no one is bigger than the club.
surely its only astute when we know who we are getting in?

the daily fail first on the case.
fack the media... spurs will get a big backlash but who cares
Chronic - Harry had to go for me. There are plenty of quality options out there - no-one has a crystal ball as to how any of them will turn out but Harry's time was up. With him in charge there was little chance of sustained progress over a sustained period of time. We need a fresh start.
or even Rodgers (seems bizarre but there are rumours that he would be willing to leave Liverpool already as he has had an eye on the Spurs job for some time).
You can't seriously believe this. That's nearly as bad as this from another thread
Was a while back, apparently the players got their agents to officially complain to Levy. For example in training Harry was having them practice 4-4-2 all week then come match day it was 4-5-1 etc.
kneerash - didn't say I believed it! Seems completely absurd to me but football can be absurd sometimes...
Everton have made a statement saying that moyes has not been approached.
McNulty seems very unhappy on twitter that Redknapp has gone.
I think that it was inevitable that Redknapp had to go. He makes too many public statements. Also I suspect that he carries too much baggage.
Managers like Redknapp are better suited where they are big fish in small ponds.I put him in same category as Allardyce.
it was inevitable after last night's statement.
almost certain the club had asked him to resign.
i reckon thinds have only broken down in the last few days though.
reckon DL was livid with that interview he did last week and took it as the final straw.
There is not a hope in he'll Rodgers will go to spurs after just signing a contract with owners who chased him and gave him the control he wanted.
It's not great for spurs but there are plenty of candidates out there, poyet maybe? Klinsman? Besides the front runner in moyes. Harrys a good manager though so it's not the best situation for either party, Harry won't get a better job then spurs but it's unlikely spurs will get a manager who will improve on Harrys league positions in his first season.
All rednapps chums in the media are crying
The knives will be out for us next season boys
nah there's no chance of rogers. thats another reaosn why we know this has happened in a hurry. he wouldnt have gone to liverpool if he thought this job was cmoing free. maybe thats why he apparently changed his mind about it cos at one point he thought harry was going but then didnt think he was ?
dont think weve got anyone lined up and it might take a while, which is a shame. but if DL's taken the decision that it's imposssible to go forward with Harry then he did what he had to do and we'll have to take the medicine.
It's going to be a busy week for ssn reporters chasing Harrys car around like a pack of terriers.

You're assuming an awful lot there.
Wonder if 'Arry will lift the lid in a BBC interview on the sofa this week. It wouldn't surprise me at all.
he wont be back on for a few days will he ?
not even harry would be that brazen.
Would anyone be shocked if ssn had an interview with Harry from the car later tonight?
Wouldn't be surprised at all. I'm not shocked at anything he says or does atm.

I wonder if Harry is bitter. If so he might have a go at levy. I hope not tho. It would be so unprofessional
Chronic, I've thought this as well. Honestly I would not be shocked if he had a rant and rave at Levy.

This will not happen. Not if he wants his severance pay, he will have to learn to keep his mouth shut or end up facing Levy in court.
