Yes you are right, Delusions. Thank you
The reason spurs finished so high, is mainly because of the good players at the club, not Harry. It is the reason most clubs succeed. You cannot tell me de Matteo would have won the CL with WBA the club who sacked him for not being that good.
Managers are overrated in my opinion. If you spend a billion like Chelsea and Man City you ae guaranteed trophies whoever is the manager.
Managers are important. To compete at the top of the league you need a manger who rotates the squad well, gives the right mentality to the players, keeps discipline and employs the right tactics. If United didn't have SAF we would of not finished anywhere near City this season.
At teams like City and Chelsea they need a manager at the start to build the squad, build an identity and mentality etc. However, once this is instilled I guess the manager becomes less important.
Spot on Sandy.
Most of us with just a little knowledge could manage a team full of good players, and suffer when they are not good enough
If managers aren't important then why did Madrid not dominate years ago in the galacticos era?
Because there were better teams around
Shandy is either a massive wum or one of the biggest idiots on here
But Andy they spent the most, that's my point, managers matter!

You think AVB would've led them to CL and FA Cup glory?

Option 2..................(But would have you believe option 1 .)
Levy has taken a massive gamble sacking Harry, and I think our new manager? may well depend on what funds Levy is willing to make available and the retaining of key players.
We havent really spent any vast amounts on players recently (maybe due to stadium and training ground expenses) and have recouped a fair bit with the sales of Pav, O`Hara, Niko and The White Cafu etc..... so there must be money kicking about.
We should soon get an idea of Levy`s ambition for Spurs, is he willing to tread water until the new stadium is built or will he stump up the cash to bring in the 3 or 4 quality players we need and to keep our existing better players.
It will be an interesting few months.
I would be amazed if that lineker quote is accurate.
Still disagree.
They help and if you are useless you will get caught out, but it's the players who get results, if they can be bothered, and if they play like a team and not as spoilt individuals
Linekar
Agree with him completely. Back to the mid-table days again lads
Shut up linekar you
Meant to be a spurs man but come out with this. Why put negative attention onto the club ? Agree or disagree what's done is done and him coming out with his two bobs worth won't do any good at all for spurs
Big eared
He has a point though cronic!
Lineker is useless.
He is the most two faced smarmy big eared lemon that has graced our TV.
Take it with a pinch of salt, it's just a cover for when arry does his next show beside him
Ive looked for this lineker quote and cant find it anywhere. it certainly doesnt appear to be in the sun.
i think youll find that this is spam.
Ask grandad he knows everything
One has to be a complete idiot to deny that Harry is easily the best Spurs manager in the PL era. Yes his head got easily turned and his tax trial testimony made him a laughing stock, but he got the job done on the field of play and his track record speaks for itself.
