Out played by an extremely average Sweden team.

This is not England

I don't like the faces of certain players wearing 3 lions

What's that supposed to mean - care to explain?

I'm sure we all jumped about when Carroll (LFC), Theo (AFC) and Welbeck (MUFC) scored.... That makes up the clubs of the vast majority of people who post on here.... So yea, time to stop the club bickering

btw - We all have players that have underperformed or not really sparkled (yet) too

I thought it was a great game, we showed character, despite the mistakes, we scored more than they did, that's what counts, all 3 goals were fantastic, all showed great vision, self awareness and prescence of mind.

After Sweden's 2nd goal the commentator had the cheek to say that England had crumbled, the whole team picked itself up, didn't look down and got on with the job in hand, all the players from all of the teams did their bit. Anyone noticed we did it with dignity too? No diving and a single yellow card!

That's not the game i watched i saw England crumble only to be safed by some brilliant skill by Walcott

I kept the faith - backed us at 8/1 when 2-1 down

You're wrong I'm afraid. If we'd crumbled, we'd have lost the game. We had a sticky patch at the start of the second half and recovered to win the game.

It was more of a sticky patch for the first 25 minutes of the second half we was shocking we must get better or we are going home

We weren't shocking at all, get a grip. Granted it wasn't the most accomplished performance but what did you expect, miracles? For a change we're actually getting to watch our team without all the unrealistic hype that the media usually lay into us with. I don't think we need to do any better than win games, no matter how they get there and if they can't win the game, lose with pride.

We may have got a win but we will not win the next game if we don't get better
We played better against France

We lost concentration at two set pieces against a team who have the players to do damage at set pieces. That's not crumbling. True, we were on the defensive, but then Sweden had not alternative but to attack if they wanted to save the game.

The main worry is that usual one, that some players looked tired after the tough PL season. Hodgson knew they would be, and I think he's done all he can in balancing the need to train against overdoing it.

We played a different game against France, that is all. Hodgson changed his lineup to suit the tactics on the night, draw with france, win against sweden.

Not even in the same class as teams that are going out

Shame to see it
