1) Because Wenger has gotten great results in the past by picking his teams based on how they do on Fifa for him. He'll play a match on the hardest difficulty against Arsenals next opponents and makes his decisions on that.
2) Because he doesn't like it when the players get their kits dirty. It's Wengers mum that has to do the washing and she shouts at him if they come back really muddy.

Because all good managers, which includes the likes of Fergie, tend to concentrate on imposing their gameplay on the opposition. Thats how, teams which concentrate on possession, play. The objective is to dominate the game, not to stop others.
The likes of Roy are already admitting that their players are not good enough. Thats why its so important to work out methods of defeating the opposition.
And I wouldn't take too much notice of a bitter Clichy. He was not even offered a new contract because we had Gibbs developing, who is already better than him. Clichy is quite a poor player and in fact was a weak link in the Man City team. No one even remembers the goal he gave away against QPR that should have cost them the title because of the unlikely comeback.
