Rev...Derby have only signed 1 freebie and that was Tyson. There is no plan at Forest...you are struggling to bring in players full stop. What i cant understand is how can Steve McClaren take a job on then a month later still have no asst in place?..Colin Calderwood??...where is the bond between McClaren and Calderwood?...where did they ever cross paths?..As for the Manager thinking of not going on tour at a crucial time because no signings have been made is embarrassing. That's just snobbery. I remember joking when Forest signed Moussi from an unknown second division French club, he turned out OK, didn't he? And where did Chambers, your POTY come from? Northampton.

I doubt you've seen any of the players we've signed - bar Tyson. If you had seen Shackell, you'd know we have signed one of the better defenders in this division.

In fact, Forest have gone on record saying they will adopt a more prudent approach, so less Nicky Maynard and more lower league bargain basement.

capnbob that is what i was saying the other day. Forest stated that they would be buying from the lower leagues for the next 2 seasons. I just wonder though if the new manager and the name will contrive to a more chucking money at it again? They did state they were going to back him when he took over. So they either dont know what they are doing or they have had a major turnaround. So long as we beat them then its all good!
