Where's Pierre Boulerongie?
Makelele and Vieira > Petit.
Maybe Lebouf in that defence, is he better than Gallas?
Still a great team!
Anelka was a very good player. But unfortunately for him Henry and Cantona were two of the Premier League's greatest.
I chose Makelele just ahead of Petit, Petit was fantastic but Makelele really defined the holding midfield role, even though I hate Chelsea Makelele is one of my personal favourite midfielders.
I forgot Blanc he would get in ahead of Gallas.

Chimbonda ------- Squillaci ------- Cygan ------ Pamarot
Le Tallec ------- Cheyrou ------- Sinama-Pongolle ------- Obertan
-------- Marlet -------- Bellion
Urgh, I meant to put Sinama-Pongolle upfront in a 4-3-3...
My team is ruined!!
Good team from the OP.
Chuck in Saha and Blanc for Henry and Gallas and you've got yourself a deal.
Swap Vieira, Makelele & Cantona for Garde, Grimandi & Samassi Abou and you're about right OP
I appreciate everyone has a right to their own opinion, but surely Gallas should get in ahead of Blanc.
Blanc was one of the best defenders of his generation, but he was 36 when he started playing in the Premiership. I think most would argue that his time in England was the nadir of his career.
Gallas, on the other hand, as much as I dislike his attitude, was one of the best defenders in the Premiership for nearly a decade.
I'd argue Koscielny has a better claim to a place than Blanc.

Gallas is one of the best defenders I've seen play the game. In terms of PL years, Gallas should be ahead of Desailly too.
You're missing World Cup and European championship winners Youri Djorkaeff and Sylvain Wiltord!
