Downing & Bendtner

It has been confirmed by both Arsenal and Villa that there is no interest in a deal to bring Downing to the Emirates.

And for that, we Gooners should be truly thankful.

Why would we want Downing?

I like Downing but we don't want or need him.

Because we're a pint of beer?

Hey Eboue's MPT.

Yep the pressure finally tolled and I signed up.

Liked look of Sport Witness best, (sorry admin) but it seems that unless you're Villa or Utd, it is TUMBLEWEED central.

12 Yards is a million articles cut and pasted from various sources with the words "No comments yet" underneath.

Whilst not606 seems all cliquey on the Arsenal board, (they even wrote articles about Lady and John not being welcome) and full of Tourette's syndrome idiots on the general chat board.

Ja606 is the only logical place to be.

Well done all those involved in setting it up in the first place and re-setting it up after everything went dark.

Downing is awful.

Thought we were looking to improve our squad to actually win something?

I've been to not606 and just about survived to get here. That place is riddled with people who have....................errr all manner of things wrong with them. Sorry bottled it for fear of being struck off.

Eboue's Magical,

Why do you think including Bentner will help when £6-7m is on the table?

It seems Villa want £20m, so even if you offered £18.5m & Bentner, i doubt they would go for it.

Bendtner is worth £12M+

Is anyone noticed Chicken is wumming here.. how much you are asking for lethal striker Crouch from Stoke?

Taxman,

how much you are asking for lethal striker Crouch from Stoke?

===============================

I'm not asking for anything, i'm just a fan, not the Chairman.

Maybe you should question why Stoke want ts touch Crouch with a bargepole (excuse the pun), instead.

I imagine they'll just ask Crouch to stand in the box and Delap will fling the ball into his face hoping it ricochets into the goal.

I think it's to speed up retrieving the ball from the tops of the Britania's stands.

Their aim is to get the average for throw-ins under 20mins next season.

Plus, they could probably fund the Crouch transfer through the sale of all the ladders they currently rely on alone.

Then its probably good money well spent.

See Taxman, what do you know?

Not really. In fact if he was English and moving to another PL club he would probably go for more. Fact of the matter is no matter what you think of him he is a young talented footballer and with a regular spot in any team in his favored position he will make assists and score goals and score all types of goals at that. You only have to look at his record with us in 09/10 when he came back from injury he either scored or assisted a goal in each of every game he started in.

I'm glad he is going abroad because there is less chance of him to come back and inevitably haunt us like all our ex players seem to do.

If he is, then this is one of the worlds best kept secrets.

I'm not going to get into a repetitive argument with you ChuckleBro. Being a Spurs fan I'm not surprised you don't rate him (most Arsenal fans don't even rate him) but there are plenty of clubs in Europe that have tried to sign him in the past and when he does inevitably leave this Summer I'll be expecting an apology from you when the transfer fee is announced.

Milan and Bayern have bid big money for him before so once again you are wrong.

If this were true:

a) Wenger would have snapped their hand off.
b) Bendtner would have snapped their hand off.
