Broad who apparently is the worlds best short ball bowler will keep his place as England will try and see if they can bounce India out. With good weather predicated in August this could lead to India being very competitive but I think England have the better spinner in Swann and for the reason England will take it 2-1.
ive never understood that expression.

I dont think they will drop the ''Enforcer".He has a ''nasty streak''.
Yeah, very frightening

Are you ok?
england 2-0 india.
england have the better pace bowlers and a better spinner. south africa held india to a draw at home and away, and i think that england have become better than south africa, and so can win.
Before the Sri Lanka series I was 2-1 Eng - Im not so sure now - If we fire on all cylinders in the bowling dept we can do it - I wouldnt drop Broad - and I dont think he will be dropped in the first test - however if he doesnt perform in the first 2 - he could get a rest - Flower has a lot of patience but a ruthless streak and he may influence the selectors
fair play to him - it only takes a game or 2 to find your form - as I said - I wouldnt drop him!
I see he didnt get Tresco out
Yeah, mainly the lower order.
I'd drop him, for being a prat
also a good point well made
Lydne
Do you know if they have finished the main stand at Edgbaston?
I dont know if its actually finished - but I watched a bit of the Warwick Durham game on TV last night and it looked it - mighty impressive looking as well in my opinion
As long it is come the third test
Youre not sat in it are you?
No, the Wednesday.
Are you going?
Not this year - Rugby world cup means Summer warm up games - and in this economic climate I have a sporting budget - it will just about stretch to Wales v England - but unfortunately the test match suffers - shame really - the last time I saw India was Trent Bridge about 8 or 9 years ago i think - I would like to of seen them.
How much were the tickets this year?
£35
I actually asked if that was right as they were so cheap.
Thats good value - i think it was £60 last year wasnt it - and £80 for the ashes
I paid £60 last summer and sat near a building site
Me too - but the weather was good - and I enjoyed going in fancy dress for the first time
I'm sure it rained for a while.
If it is finished then it should be a great atmosphere.
Just goes to show how my memory is
Maybe you were to drunk to notice
AND
Is it the Rugby World Cup this year?
"With good weather predicated in August this could lead to India being very competitive"
And also the fact that they won't be bowling "no-balls" for money could lead to India being very competitive.
